After 15+ years ordering here, tonight was the worse experience ever. I placed a pick up order and was told it will take 25-30 minutes. Upon arrival 35 minutes later, I was questioned about my order and was charged. I found the questioning a bit odd, but went ahead and paid, and even gave a tip! The order was nowhere and when I asked if it was ready, the guy felt offended and said it will take few minutes to have it ready. He even wanted to know (by looking in my cell) the time I placed the order. Instead of letting me know that the food was not there and offer me the option to wait or to get my money back, he acted defiant and said they must have given it away and assumed I would prefer to wait for fresh/warm food. He was defensive when I asked why he decided for me and my time and charged for something that was not even prepared or given away. He even started an entire interrogation as.to why I would not want it now and then suggested to return my money. His assumption, lack of respect and customer service was outrageous. I left to my car, and when I turned it on, next thing I see is him walking to my car all upset and speaking to himself. As he got close to my window, he started saying things. Not sure what he said because my windows were up and I drove away. That's harrasment. Having left the place was the end of it but he followed me to my car. Not sure what has happened in that management but whatever it is, I am absolutely not returning there ever again and posting this so you are aware of the treatment you will get from...

We were not in the mood to cook, and in the mood for a pizza. Looking around our area, we realized we’ve never ordered from this place yet, and they deliver to our neighborhood. OK then. An order was put in for a Medium Veggie Pizza and a large Spinach Calzone. We were a bit taken aback when just those two items came up to $55 when they included the driver tip, taxes, and then a delivery charge as well … but we had already ordered, so we gulped and went forward.

The order was delivered on time and we opened the two boxes. The Calzone is HUGE!!!! It filled up a large pizza box and came with two tubs of tomato sauce to dunk the calzone in. We cut it up into eight pieces as well as the pizza and each took a slice of each to find out how tasty they were.

Now came the second set of disappointments. The pizza was just OK. The crust was OK, but between it and the toppings, it was just an OK pie. Nothing really special or outstanding in any way from any of the other pizza joints around here. The Calzone though – it was a much bigger disappointment. One of the pictures I posted shows how much grease came off of it onto my plate. It was dripping grease! Not sure if that came from low quality cheese, low quality pepperoni, or if they put down too much oil as their “white sauce” or what the problem may have been. Regardless, all that pooling grease is off-putting to say the least.

Bottom line – between the high price and the grease, we will not be ordering...

Everything was just okay. Am I glad I got everything. Yes will I go back, doubtful. The young gentleman that rung me up and got me my food was very friendly. When I place my pickup order I got two of the lunch specials. One was the two slices of pizza and a drink and the other was the Italian hoagie and a drink. I asked for a cheese slice and then for the other slice to be either pepperoni or sausage. Whatever they thought would be better. When I got home and opened the pizza box I had all pepperoni and it was clearly just a portion of a whole pizza because it was four small slices versus two big slices. I'm not a fan of overcook crust. I know some people were okay with that. I am not so I was rather disappointed. And the hoagie was just okay. Nothing to complain about it just wasn't anything...

Way overpriced. $26 for a 12 cut pepperoni. Now, there is nothing special about this pizza. It is run through a conveyor oven, not a deck oven. For a conveyor oven, it does generate a crispier crust than most conveyor ovens, but does not mimic a true Italian or NY style pizza that would be cooked on a Baker's Pride or Blodgett deck. They do use high-gluten flour and cup-and-char pepperoni and I was happy with the amount of sauce and cheese. For a NY style pizza, it's not bad, but not the best. The slice holds up to a fold. But the issue I have with this pizza shop is the price. Their pizza is make with identical ingredients as Primanti Bros. (cooked on a deck). Ardelino's = $26; PB = $20 Sure $6 is not going to make or break me, but it's something you should know.
