I stopped at this Tuckahoe Cheesecake Factory to buy something to take to an Easter dinner. I also wanted another cheesecake to switch up for four different kinds. But I was trying to decide so I asked questions. While I was checking out the different cheese cakes a guy with a bunch of keys on his belt interrupts me and says for the girl to wait on him because I was deciding. She stops helping me and goes over to him and leaves me hanging. By now I have cookies and macaroons in front of me too that I picked out. The young girl was clueless as to answering my questions. She didnāt offer any samples. I only knew of the samples because I saw another girl offer them to the woman behind me. When I asked for a sample there was kind of I donāt know if we can. What do you want and it was said with such a āyou are bothering meā rudeness that I just said hereās my cookies and give me a plain cheesecake. I paid and left. In fact when I tried to ask the owner about the crust before I left she was quite terse and said that the crust has always been the same. Now, last year for a gathering I bought 4 cheese cakes. I have the pictures. Prior to that i have visited this place every year, in fact since the late 80ās when it was owned by Christianās who gave out Bible verses w the cheesecake. Now, I think the girl should have asked her co worker to wait on him, the man with the keys, and stayed with me. Their customer service was horrific and vicious. Last year a man helped me and he was genuine and fun.
Their cheesecake is wonderful. They are not warm or fuzzy. I felt slighted and treated poorly but they are close and easy to get to.
Next time, I will make my own or take the extra trip to Mastoriās in Bordentown. Their cheese cake is same or betterābut their staff is always good. Next time either me or Mastoriās, a good diner and it has been on the food network. This is still good but if and when I go back I will prepare to be belittled and be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have a very bed experience here and I am a cheesecake lover. 1st off the girl at the front counter was extremely rude and arrogant. I advised her I was buying slices of cheese cake and I wanted to sample one before I purchased one of the flavors. She said no that she could not cut into a cheese cake for me. But I did advice hurt that I would buy a piece. So I selected the slice anyway of that Flavor and I selected a plain cheesecake flavor when I receive them I was shocked to see how tiny the slices were I was extremely disappointed. Maybe they were the samples they were so small. Then I proceeded to ask her about a bag of cookies which were chocolate chip cookies she said it was $12 for a bag. IS her if she would accept $10 for the bag of cookies because it was at the end of the day and they may have been sitting there all day and it was a small bag of cookies which was overpriced to begin with. The counter girl blatantly ignored me and gave me my change back. But she did leave a dirty look for me. I then called afterwards and asked for the manager which she could give a rat's ass about anything and didn't even try to rectify the situation at all she just flat out did not care.... So in the end I feel Like I got cheated and ripped off from this place. I would give 10 negative stars if possible. And after tasting the cheesecake it's nothing to rave about complete ripoff... Save your time and money go somewhere else...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreComing from New York and experiencing some of the best in Italian cheesecake like Vesuvio, Venerio, Ferrara, Juniors (has gone down the list in the last 10 - 15ys, it just isn't what it once was), finding this place back in 2012 was the best thing to happen while I lived in Ocean City. This place makes an excellent cheesecake, and has many flavors to choose from. It's some of the best cheesecake I've ever tasted, I kid you not. If I could give 6 Stars, I would. The staff is very nice and helpful, their shop is very small but very clean, and you get free coffee with every single slice of cheesecake you buy. What else could you want? If you're driving on rt50 in either direction, pull into their parking lot, get out of the car, and try any of their great cheesecake flavors, (I've tried many and have never been disappointed. Yesterday was coconut š„„ cream and chocolate peanut butter) and experience some real old world style charm and high quality, well made cheesecake. You won't find anything else that...
