Stringers Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Utica South Township

First time checking them out. Had the special, Country Fried Steak and Fries. Steak was fried well with good crunch and texture, with plenty of gravy. The gravy was a little bland, in my opinion, but not bad. A little extra salt and pepper, and that helped. The fries were crispy and had good flavor. My buddy says the beef tips are the only thing he ever gets, top notch!

The service was quick and food came out hot. The Server was great. She was quick, attentive and very friendly.

The place is a bit hidden behind the store, but for sure worth checking out. I hear it can get pretty busy, but when we were there for lunch, there were only a handful of people. I for sure see this as a local favorite and would have it's regulars, but not so much that we felt out of place. If you're in the area, check 'em...

If there was a 1/2 star I would probably give that! Worst service I have EVER HAD!!! I am not a picky person and never leave reviews but this experience was the worst I have ever experience!! We arrived a little before 8:00 in the evening and their was only 2 other tables! We ordered drinks and the waitress got us drink in a reasonable amount of time!! But we then sat for an HOUR AND FIFTEEN MINUTES before we finally got our food!! Not once did she ever come back to ask us if we needed more drinks!! Finally got our food and never offered any more drinks!!! Then messed up on our bill!! Could not get out of this place soon enough!!! And then my husbands food was cold and one of the orders came late!!! I will never eat...

The food is decent and the prices are reasonable -- but the amount of time you have to wait for the food is not acceptable. We waited for about 20 minutes before our order was even taken. THEN it was over an hour by the time we got our food. Our waitress warned us the table next to us was "ahead" of us, but we only saw food come out of the kitchen about ever 20 minutes or so. By the time we left, we'd been there for 2 hours, just to get a couple burgers and a shrimp basket. I would never go here again. The waitress was nice, the atmosphere was okay, but absolutely nothing about it was worth a 2 hour investment of my time and waiting 1.5 of those hours for our food....
