R & B Barbecue — Restaurant in Valley Grande

Me and my wife stopped by for our first time there. Bbq plate , two sides. Second plate was the catfish plate,two sides. They kept trying to "push" the banana pudding. But we decided against it. Paid $53.55 and it really hit us when my wife asked how much it was once in the vehicle. I really think they accidentally charged for the pudding also. But we're not from there. So we've tried to call to maybe clarify the over charge. But can't even do that because these folks apparently won't answer the phone!! We've tried for two days!! Food was pretty good,but won't be back!!! Ate steak ,salad,baked potato and more sides two days later at Texas roadhouse and it was this...

I don't know what it was about this place that made it so different. You'll get fed ....the food here will feed your heart. It's just good home cooking that's made with love. It reminded me of my grandma's cooking ...and I'm telling you that women could anything. It's small, quaint, peaceful. Maybe that was part of it, a great place to sit down for a quiet meal with great food...

Got fried pork chop mac and cheese fried okra and corn everything was fresh was everything you could want glad to have eaten there and met all the nice people enjoyed hearing locals just talking about real life was an enjoyable place would love to go back when I go...
