We recently tried this new restaurant and were unfortunately disappointed with the experience. We ordered a couple of steak dishes, but the quality was lacking, with a lot of fat on the meat, which didn’t feel worth the price. At over $40 for two meals with just waters, we expected better.
We asked for a specific topping on the side, and they brought it as an additional portion, charging us for it. They did remove the charge when we clarified, but it was frustrating, especially since we hadn’t touched it. Read moreWe’ve gone a few times for dinner, and the food has always been great! We went again last night and, while the meal was still delicious, I was a bit surprised by a couple of things. I used to be a server, so I completely understand how things work, but I asked for a side of the green jalapeño sauce and wasn’t informed there would be an extra charge. I was fine with paying it—it’s just more about the communication. Also, the $1 charge for a small 2oz side felt a bit high.
