This has been on my list to try for about 6 months. We came in about 2ish on a Saturday and was met with nothing from bartender and lots of kindness from another. Our service was given by Kristy and she was excellent. She was kind, new, attentive but busy and learning. She really was the only gem in the bar. Although the bar looked like a fun time, it sure was hard to get over the managers presence. She had a permenant scowl, never acknowledged us, never said a thing when i said thank you twice,, and when I asked for my onion and lettuce (no pickles) with my burger, she finally spoke and told me the ticket said nothing. I told her I said no pickles and reminded her maybe the other lady got it wrong since she was in training. This woman proceeded to say nothing and then dropped a plate full of lettuce and pickles by me. Hmmm....must have missed the no pickle memo. She looked miserable and acted as so, and because of that I will not go again. I hate rude customer service when I am a nice and easy patron. She set the tone for this place in an ugly way and although I hope she's not going through personal troubles, I can only think that's why she behaved in such a way. The burger was juicy and cooked well and if we had Kristy, would have definitley gave it...
Read moreThis use to be my favorite small town bar, but ever since the new owners took over it has just become another “goodlife” wanna-be food has gone way down hill, use to be the best prime rib in town, I’ve went 3 times since the new year and 1 time almost got the temperature right, there is no more crispy outside either which was my favorite part and gave it so much flavor. The burgers were also another one of my favorite burgers in Nebraska, they were nothing special but so good, just a good greasy small town burger, not the meat has no flavor, the bun is sweet, and it’s just not good. I would rather go to McDonalds honestly. They have so many new TVs but they barely work, not sure if it’s an internet issue or what but was trying to watch a game one night and it kept freezing. I ended up leaving and going home to watch my game. I also use to walk in there and be greeted by the same friendly face bartenders, I use to know who worked what nights. it’s now young college kids, not the bartenders I have known for years. It’s just sad to see yet another great gem get ruined. I wont be visiting and will not recommend it to anyone I know...
Read moreMY ONLY REGRET IS THAT THEY DONT HAVE NEGATIVE STARS TO GIVE, THE FOOD TOOK SOOO LONG TO GET TO US & IT WAS JUST OK, FAR FROM WHAT I EXPECTED. SERVICE WAS GOOD AT LEAST. ok i gave the PONDO another chance... I'm regretting it now. all this new help. i didn't see even one girl from last time we were there. they are all new and they are more interested in there phones and polishing glasses than they are getting our drinks. seriously? i think the glasses are actually suppose to air dry, from my bar tending/ restaurant days, dishes were air dried. its more sanitary. these girls should really be told how to prioritize. #1 greet the customer#2 ask what they can get to drink so on & so on. & put the freaking phones in...
