Burger King — Restaurant in Van Buren Charter Township

I had a very disappointing experience at this Burger King location. Despite being one of only two customers in the entire place and ordering ahead through the mobile app, the staff seemed completely unorganized and struggled to figure out my order. They asked me what felt like 20 different questions to "piece together" what should have been a simple process. It took nearly 20 minutes to receive my food after arriving—far too long for a fast food establishment, especially with no crowd to justify the delay.

The food itself was average—nothing special, as expected from a Burger King—but the experience was worsened by the apparent lack of competence and efficiency from the staff. While they weren’t rude, they clearly had no sense of urgency or understanding of how to handle orders quickly or properly. They even forgot to include my drink, which I had to go back and address.

The atmosphere didn’t help matters either. The restaurant was lifeless, run-down, and felt neglected. For a place that’s supposed to be about quick, hassle-free service, this location fell far below expectations.

If management reads this, I’d strongly suggest hiring and training employees who are motivated and capable of handling basic tasks like processing app orders and preparing food promptly. Whatever processes are in place now clearly aren’t working, and the lack of coordination from staff is unacceptable. Until changes are made, I wouldn’t recommend this...

July 27, 2018 Friday 3:48 pm I usually never review fast food yet this was unusually disgusting. Flies, yes nasty disgusting dirty disease carrying maggoty Flies. From ceiling to floor appalling. Everything seemed to be covered in a film of filth. -All the tables were dirty "all" -The front counter was dirty, because it was an unidentified food or sauces? -The beverage station had trash piled up, an utter mess, really disgusting Trash bins overflowing and " FLIES" that says it all -The floors were covered in trash. -All chairs were pulled out and seating had trash and food. The overall restaurant was disgusting and dirty throughout, I took pictures, not because of how bad, but you have to see it to believe it. When I left I threw out everything, washed my hands in purel, then went to another restaurant for a meal that did not pose a health threat. This is not an isolated location, Haggerty and AnnArbor Road is as bad or if even possible, Worse. Burger Disgusting King - Save yourself the disappointment, pick another restaurant, just NOT...

Asked for Big King XL. They gave me a big king in whopper jr. size. They also served me a gross old bun. Asked politely for it to be remade since its supposed to be whopper meat. Worker claimed thats how it was usually made. worker smiling sarcastically and giving me a side eye when explaining herself. Showed her pictures of big king XL and took description of burger directly off BK website. I asked at least four or five times very politely to have it remade. Asked for my money back since they refused to remake it. Suddenly changed her attitude and offered to remake the burger after I asked for money back. I'm eating the remade burger and find puddle of gross saliva and hair in my food. I dont know what I did wrong to deserve this kind of treatment. Probably not...
