After driving almost 1,000 miles from California we decided to drop in rather than eating fast food. We should've went to Wendy's. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS NASTY DIRTY PLACE. I wouldn't even give them the credit of calling it a restaurant!! My husband's ice tea was old and smelt sour like it had been sitting out for days. He ordered the 8oz Carne Asada plate with eggs and potatoes, the "Carne Asada" was maybe 2oz and looked like a piece of a round steak, the serving of FROZEN BAGGED potatoes could've filled 1/4 measuring cup and his eggs were cooked well done after ordering them as over easy. I ordered the pancake plate (to be safe) and when she brought it out, I was told "we didn't put bacon on the plate because it's frozen, do you want extra sausage?", the sausage even had that freezer burn flavor to it! The service was mediocre! It took her several minutes to even bring our drinks. Once she brought our plates we were never checked on once and had to fight flies off the entire visit. She probably knows the place is horrible. Upon leaving I looked into the cook window and seen that the woman in the back didn't even have a hair net on!
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! IT WAS VERY EXPENSIVE FOR THE QUALITY OF FOOD, AND IS A VERY DIRTY PLACE, FLIES EVERYWHERE AND WE AREN'T EVEN 30MIN DOWN THE FWY AND ALREADY HAVE AN UPSET STOMACH. IF SHE DIDN'T HAVE A HAIR NET ON, GOD ONLY KNOWS IF SHE...
Read moreMediocre at best. We saw this place as we were pulling into the RV park on our way from Arizona. After being in Oregon for the last 6 months, we were really looking forward to some Texas Tex-Mex. I gotta tell ya, 3.8 star rating is generous. Our first disappointment came when we didn’t get chips and salsa. I lived in Texas my whole life. Chips and salsa are a staple. We ordered the chips and queso and it was fabulous. When we arrived there were 3 people in the whole place. We didn’t receive our drinks until 2 couples that came in after us has received their food. The waitress was very sorry though. After both couples stood up and paid we asked the waitress how much longer our food would be. Wouldn’t you know it, she didn’t put the order in, but blamed it on the cook getting confused. We ordered 3 crispy tacos with rice and beans each. What arrived was a soft/crispy taco hybrid. I tasted no taco seasoning. Just ground beef with the usual toppings. The whole experience was very disappointing. I know it’s tough to get help these days. There was only one waitress, but she got distracted when what appeared to be her boyfriend came in. To top It all off, no margaritas to be had. Not...
Read moreAs for a Mexican restaurant really disappointing.
The first serving of housemade tortilla chips is free (very salty, very greasy and the salsa just looking like a jalapeno was smashed up and mixed with water, no flavor. This must be the reason why no soda fountain only individual can soda (no free refills) Had to remind waitress of the free chips and salsa when food was delivered.
I ordered the 4 tacos special, came with a baked potato or refried beans and rice. I choose the beans and rice (which both were cold, cold enough my butter wouldn't melt.) The 4 tacos were supposed Asada street tacos, menu said tacos included cilantro and onions as any other street taco I ever got. What I got was 4 street taco tortillas with maybe. 1 to 1.5 cup worth of steak, over over salted meat. At least the guacamole tasted fresh.
As for telling others about this location not happening. Other mexican restraunts in area. Being right next to a pilot travel center in sure they get alot of business from other truck drivers and people passing thru.
Your better off avoiding this restaurant and going...
