So I originally was going to give this place a good review because the curry chicken seemed pretty good for my first time trying it and the naan cheese bread was great. Then here comes 2 days later I order the most expensive thing was a whole chicken and what I received when I got in my truck was 5 big cheap drumsticks. I mean I spent $20 for horrible cheap drumbsticks I took 1 bite and threw it out, totally left a bad taste in my mouth. Ordered it because I mainly wanted to try the white meat like the picture showed a whole chicken together. Like cheap hindus is the truth. Why I say that because not only that was the issue I paid $30 total was 24.42 and he just gives me a 5 back. Like didn't even acknowledge the change! You want a $2 can of pop? Place was run down even the parking lot is mine field of potholes. Won't be returning or recommending this place ever again. Even the naan cheese bread the 2nd time around tasted nothing like the one I had 2 days prior. 1 star for being pathetic and I'm not a racist one of my best family friends is a Hindu! His whole family is friends of ours. Even he would say don't go to that place. Truth is the truth.. Will say the only thing I had fresh today was some slices of onions. Recommend...

Ok, the plus side , free parking , huge dirt lot. Stopped for the night to reset my 11 hour clock. I’ve had a taste for chicken tikka masala lately but I really wanted to try something else, I brought my OTR acquaintance here and got the large order butter chicken with rice, two garlic naan for $26.00. He got the chicken tikka masala.

I get out to the truck , small cup of butter chicken, 4 pieces of garlic naan ( charged me for two orders, even though if I wanted two slices), and no rice . To my surprise either did he , we were both asked if wanted rice and gave positive responses .

Quality of meat was disappointing . I respect the small family owned business hustle , but you shouldn’t rip off your customers to save a penny.

As to the weary traveler , you’re better off driving another 20 minutes WB to the restaurants...

One of the worst India restaurants I’ve been too. I am a truck driver and I love Indian food. I lived in India for over a year so I know my Indian food. America Indian food isn’t as good as authentic Indian food and I do take that in consideration. I got Chilli Chicken, rice and butter naan. The first thing I noticed was that they didn’t wrap the styrofoam container with plastic wrap which is standard with Indian restaurants for takeout orders so that the sauce doesn’t spill out. Needless to say, I had chilli chicken sauce all over the inside of the bag and on the other items inside. I got sauce all over me and my truck. The chilli chicken was a knock-off but that’s to be expected, I haven’t had authentic chilli chicken since I left India but this was a horrible knock-off. I will never stop...

I think this is my favorite dhaba. I been here a few times. Every time I pass, I stop for food. I don’t know why people saying it’s expensive, it’s really not compared to many other Indian places I been to. It’s about average price for the portions. The food has been good every time and I’ll continue trying different dishes they have 🙏 3/11/24 I stopped by again…second time getting karhahi here, last time I got with chicken and this time with paneer. Both times was very good. The peppers and onions had nice crunch, not mushy and soggy. I get chicken korma too every time I come here because I love it so much.

Very nice stop, very clean bathrooms, friendly staff and quick service at the counter. I really liked the garlic naan I ordered, the chicken and rice dish I ordered was quite a large serving and piping hot, but the spices were out of the ordinary for me and I won't go so far as to say I liked it a lot, but I did eat till I was full. I'm sure it is excellent Indian food (it's still a truck stop not fine dining) I rate everything about this place 5 stars! Also the store has an amazing selection of cool stuff, from paintings to nicknacks, it's worth checking out!

It pains me to give less than 5-star for chicken biriyani. Here are the reasons in my opinion I gave lower star: chicken was not cooked consistent due to different sized pieces, bell peppers felt out-of-placed, yogurt was at room temperature, naan bread was more a tortilla than spongy, and rice seemed overly watered. I've been taught to cook rice half-way and then add it with the meat marinade. This gives the rice a perfect texture so it's not overcooked. Nonetheless, the flavor was there, just not the full experience of my favorite dish.
