Old 41 Diner - Veedersburg, IN — Restaurant in Veedersburg

This is my second visit and the second time I've been blown away by the food. The wait staff is kind and prompt, the food is incredible, the prices even better, and the serving sizes are generous. It seems to be a local hangout so it does get busy and pretty loud.

My first meal I tried the hand breaded tenderloin and potato wedges. I'm not much for tenderloin and it was absolutely delicious. The potato wedges were the size of my head. I got 4 of those and could only eat 2. Today I tried the Italian Beef sandwich and hand breaded onion rings. The onion rings are huge and I got at least 6 of those. The sandwich was amazing. Veedersburg is the meeting point when I pick up my kids from visiting family. I found this little diner and I am so glad that I did.

It's an adorable little diner tucked away in this quaint little town.

Ashley was our waitress and she was sweet as candy. Wasn't fake, had a great personality. She was patient when my little girls ordered and was very accommodating.

She checked on us just enough and didn't rush us.

Food came quickly and was super yummy. Everything was flavorful and fresh.

The atmosphere of this little diner is wonderful as are the staff. The food, however, was only average to a little below average. I ordered the catfish, which was a nice size, but for some reason, it was just kind of soggy and didn’t have a lot of flavor, even though the breading was a nice golden color. We also had mushrooms. They were pretty full of grease and overdone. The slaw was pretty good. It might have been home made. I was actually a little disappointed because many people had told me how good it was.
