Mahi Mahi Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Vega Alta

So good. The breakfast is really good and available until noon. I really liked the pancakes, french toast, eggs with potatoes, the fruit with coconut and honey...all really good. One thing I would think would really set this breakfast menu offerings to offer homemade Mallorca. It would nice to have some breakfast pastries or bagels and yogurt and granola--more continental choices. The dinner is excellent. The options are good, and I really liked the red snapper, the risotto with shrimp and I like the appetizers like the quesadillas and the shrimp with cheese inside. All delicious and they taste homemade. The desserts were all my favorite: fried cheesecake, tres leches and chocolate cake--so good. I want to give a shout out to the waiters and waitresses here, wow, they are all amazing! The hospitality is beyond amazing. So kind and sweet. What a friendly team. I stayed at the Hyatt Hotel and after a long flight went to go get some food. After waiting for 40 minutes, I received my food which was mashed potatoes the shape of a tupperware container with sad little pieces of flavorless cheese on top and fried chicken that was slimy and frankly horrible. I was ravenous so i got through about half of it after realizing i just couldn’t eat anymore. For dinner, I ordered something as simple as a house salad. The salad was some spinach and leafy greens with bits of feta and sad little pieces of cranberries and walnuts at the bottom. it came with a raspberry vinaigrette that tasted like vomit aftertaste. it was so bad but again i needed to eat and didn’t have a rental car. this time i only made it...

As this is the only convenient dining option we had to dine here most of our trip. There are a couple of great servers and the lady that apparently owns the place is great. Other than that - we got treated horribly - basically ignored the entire time even with substantial tips. Best food was the fried chicken strips. Very overpriced unfortunately. Easily $100 per meal with two drinks. Sad because the resort and staff are great. But several times we ended our fun day short because the staff was so rude.
