The Bank House Cafe — Restaurant in Verona

Ok, let me think of where to start, the food, the place, or the employees... We drove from Dayton to grab a bite to eat after hearing about this "great place" in Verona. It was worth EVERY mile of the drive. The burgers were awesome, I had the Animal burger... wow!! Give it a try you won't be disappointed. The "Amelia" pizza fantastic, French onion soup, really good. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, all 3 of them. The building is beautiful inside and out, obviously an old Bank, they did a great job bring it back to life. This is definitely a hidden gem. If your wanting to find a little "Mom and Pop" off the beaten path that make you feel welcome with great food and people this would be it....

Simply one of the best places I’ve accidentally found. We were in town for a dog sport event and saw this place had best ratings for burgers. Showed up and due to some technical difficulties, no burgers. BUT amazing pizzas and the most excellent service. I’ve been to many places where you walk in and are unsure of how things go or if you seat yourself, etc. and you just stand there unsure. This was not that. They wasted no time greeting us, showing us how things worked, and pointing out favorites on the menu and serving up some very delicious food. This place is a gem and the community should be grateful to have them. Also the prices were amazing. Two of us ate a pizza and apps for like, $28...

If you're looking for a quaint, hole-in-the-wall place with some of the best sandwiches you've ever had, where you're greeted with a smile whether you're a newbie or a regular, this is the place for you! Their burgers are spectacular. The Mushroom/Swiss is the best I've ever had and I've had more than a few. The Capone is also absolutely delicious. That is buttermilk soaked, hand breaded chicken tenderloins with steamed mozzarella and Bank House marinara. The tater tots are crispy and delicious and the onion rings are battered, sweet and absolutely yummy! The service was fast and friendly. We will be back and will recommend it to all our local family...
