Roxano's Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Vevay

Had family in on Saturday they wanted to try roxanos. We went Saturday at 6pm. When we walked in the door there was maybe 3 tables with 4 people at them. Girl came and we ordered our food. The bread sticks came about 15 minutes later. Our food came 1 hour and 20 minutes later. We had a little boy with us who ordered spaghetti and meatballs that didn't come until 10 minutes after our pizza arrived so that 1 hour and 35 minutes and it was a pile of cold sauce and a bowl of pasta water seriously. After 45 minutes of being there a good amount of people started coming in. They got their food long before we had. This isn't so much the owners problem or our servers. It's the kids in the kitchen who are just jacking around. I paid my $65 dollar check and that will be the last time we come down until they get better help in the kitchen...

We are from a big town and we were traveling through. We also grew up in a small town so we understand what a small town restaurants like. The waitress was quick and pretty good overall. Our biggest problem is it took forever to get our food and then it was burnt and wrong so a second pizza was placed.

We spent nearly two hours in the restaurant. We received garlic bread in under ten minutes but then hour for our pizza. It was pretty busy so we gave them a little lenience. However it took 45 more minutes for our second pizza as the first was incorrect.

They never asked if things were tasting good. Never offered a discount for their mistakes. Never asked how our experience was. It seemed like they were churning and burning through customers.

Food was good for a small town...

4Monster Pizza's 2w Pepperoni & Cheese, 1w Pepperoni NO-Cheese & 1w Pepperoni Onion Mushroom. Each Monster cost $23.25 after tax we picked up. 18" Pizza with few toppings as each was allowed 3toppings per menu price, so we were well under the 3each. Pizza was delicious 👌 I can't say a bad word! The 2with Pepperoni each had a slightly different taste, we did figured out why. The one with the proper sauce was hands down 10x better than the one with very little sauce!!! So, to sum up... Great Pies (even better with sauce a plenty) but overall a great product! A bit pricey for the family to eat there often but, if we lived closer we would sure go back to see how the menu measures out on treat night!! Love to taste more food from a fine lil slice of America right in the middle...
