Disappointed is an Understatement
From the moment we walked in, we were met with cold stares and zero acknowledgment, as if our presence was somehow a burden—despite being the only customers there. The parking lot was empty, and after our visit, it was clear why.
The atmosphere was unwelcoming and unkempt, with a dim, neglected feel that frankly gave off roach motel vibes. Not exactly the kind of environment that inspires confidence in food safety.
My brother, who is pescatarian, ordered a tuna empanada and was instead served something stuffed with chopped hot dogs. Completely unacceptable—not only careless but potentially harmful for someone with dietary restrictions.
As for the desserts: the cheesecake had the flavor (and texture) of old chapstick that had been sitting uncovered in the fridge for days. The chocolate-cheesecake was even worse—dry, sour, and bordering on inedible. A tragic attempt at dessert, honestly.
This was one of the most unwelcoming, low-effort food experiences we’ve had—and we travel frequently. It’s rare to find an establishment where both the service and the food are this off-putting. Perhaps our treatment had something to do with not being from Mexico, as that seemed to be the only thing that differentiated us from the staff. If so, that’s not just disappointing—it’s discriminatory.
We won’t be back, and we certainly won’t be recommending this place. Thankfully, Las Concha’s down the road reminded us what real hospitality and quality tastes like—even at closing time, they were warm, welcoming, and packed with happy customers. That contrast...

From multiple pan dulces, Dubai chocolate desserts, flan, basque cheesecake, tried leches, plus much much more you will not find in Victoria. The post about being rude is ludicrous. They have been extremely helpful with any questions. The best part, is they do not price gouge. The pricing is extremely fair and could easily charge more. I would recommend an aggressive advertising campaign because once the city experiences these great homemade items, the sky is the limit. Thank you for the hard work it takes to pull this off. 10 stars if I could. They are...
Read moreI didn't dine in, as while there are a couple tables, I prefer to perform my shameful face-stuffing rituals on my couch while watching The Office. Every item I've gotten out of that cabinet has been absolutely delicious, even more so when dunked generously in champurrado or atole. Prices are on point, and there is quite a variety of many things to choose from.
Parking can be a little rough, but if you want the good stuff, you gotta make a sacrifice here or there I guess.
Don't pet the goatman in the corner of the parking lot. He does NOT appreciate it. He won't bite. But he will...
