Long post alert... Worth reading if you're thinking about going here: My husband & I found this restaurant online while looking for things to do in Georgia, as we've lived here a year but not been able to explore as much as we would have liked with his old job. We came across this restaurant in Vidalia in our research & thought it would be cool to drive to & experience ourselves, Google maps showed it was about 3-3.5 hours away, so we decided to try it out... Then Covid-19 hit & the restaurant, like everything else in the country, closed for take-out only. My parents came from Iowa to visit around Memorial Day weekend. We had told my parents we wanted to try this place & we were all excited to try it. We looked on Google maps & saw that it was still closed to dine-in seating. We tried to call, but no one answered so we assumed it was still closed. I decided to try to call again on Tuesday, 6/2/20, & found out they were reopened. My husband & I decided we would drive down to celebrate my birthday a couple days afterwards. Come to today, 6/6/20... We got up & hit the road from Canton, GA, to Vidalia. We got to town earlier than the restaurant opened, so we drove around town. We pulled back in the parking lot around 4:55 & waited in the truck since they weren't supposed to open until 5:30. There were 3 other cars in the parking lot, they all went down the stairs about 5:10, so around 5:15 we got out & went down the stairs ourselves. We walked in & were told to have a seat wherever we wanted, so we sat down. The restaurant was decorated in a unique fashion. There were 3 young ladies helping get drinks & food orders. There was also an older gentleman there as well, I'd assume either the manager or owner. We sat down at our table & were greeted right away. We gave the waitress our order, we wanted to split the 16oz ribeye, get onion peels, each have a salad & got an order of fries. Our salads & onion peels came out very fast. We were surprised at how quickly they arrived at the table. The onion peels are very delicious & worth the money, the salads weren't anything to write home about, but were ok. Our steak & fries came out fairly quickly after that. At this point my husband's beer was empty & my tea glass was almost empty. The gentleman brought out our food from the kitchen. He put the plate in front of my husband. I advised him that we were splitting the steak & asked for another plate, he said he'd bring it out. We waited about 7 min for the 2nd plate before my husband advised me to eat. Our drinks were empty. We could easily be seen by the staff from the bar, we were also walked by multiple times with no one stopping to check on us. I went ahead & started eating part of the steak. Another 10 min passed before one of the girls came by the table to refill my tea glass. My husband was frustrated so he gave her our CC to pay the bill. The waitress asked how everything was, not looking at the fact that half of a 16oz ribeye sat uneaten. My husband replied, "I guess it was ok, but I wouldn't really know." The waitress took the CC & walked off without addressing his comment. When I took the receipt to the bar, she asked how everything was again. I told her that we never got the 2nd plate we asked for so we could both eat so we only ate 1/2 the steak. She seemed completely unaware of how to respond, so she said she could go get another plate. I told her at that point it was too late. I gave her the receipt & walked out the door. The steak was ok, but nothing special. It definitely didn't look like it was a 16oz steak, even before it was cooked. It was over-seasoned for my liking, definitely not worth the $35+ for we paid for the steak. This was a major disappointmeny for us. We definitely will not be driving back down here again. The only good thing that happened today was that we bought a bag of fresh Vidalia onions on the side of the road from a farmer.

Lindsay & Vincent Green First time my husband and I ate here. We love the Treehouse styled restaurant environment. The food was hot, fresh, delicious šŸ˜‹ and served in a timely manner. My husband ordered 6pc hot wings for his appetizer and 12oz Ribeye steak dinner and 6pc fried shrimp basket for his main course. SN: I tasted a piece of my husband steak and it was ooh so SUCCULENT!!! šŸ˜ I ordered onion petals for my appetizer and Bang Bang shrimp dinner for my main course and all was delicious…In addition to my husband main course he ordered 2 more shrimp baskets… just a little background on my husband he is a BIG COOKā€¼ļøso if he show or tell you something is good believe it.. because he do not hold back; if it’s not good he will let it be known.. THIS MAN WAS SHOWING HE LOVED THEM SHRIMP LASTNIGHT 😁 he could not stop eating them…For the complimentary Cole slaw. I must say I’m a very picky eater when it comes to coleslaws and I have been to many nice restaurants after I taste a little… if it’s not good I will throw it to the side and that is the end of that… I must say the coleslaw was SCRUMPTIOUS and this is the 2nd restaurant I’ve ate coleslaw at… Lastly the owner checking on us and assisting with serving us was a nice gesture. WE WILL BE BACKā€¼ļøā€¼ļø

I left 2 stars because I ordered fried mushrooms and they were delicious and my drink was filled at all times. Me and my son and mother ordered the Philly cheese steak which I'm sure was steakumms and they seasoned them up and put a runny cheese on them. For the amount I paid for my meal to eat frozen steak umms is GARBAGE. I wanted to order a kidsmeal for my child and they only have 1 kids meal to offer which was a 2 piece tender. All kids don't eat chicken. When I walked in I was not even acknowledged. It was so awkward that I asked them did I walk in the wrong side. I also spoke to a man and voiced my opinion about the kids meal and he tried to make a funny remark about my child not eating chicken which I DID NOT find funny. I hope they will enjoy those little 40$ that I spent because we won't be back. They also serve you out paper plates. That was the least of my worries, but it was odd.

Honest open review, not looking to disrespect anyone, just plain simple review. We had a party of 5, 2 of us got there early and the lady let everyone waiting come inside to wait even though they were not technically open (very nice). We get inside and they start taking our drink orders, and we got an appetizer (the stuffed shrimp) the shrimp were not completely cooked. When the rest of our party arrived, they ordered drinks and the same appetizer as us, theirs was done. We had 5 different meals, one girl ordered the Buffalo chicken sandwich and it came out with chicken strips on a bun and that's it no lettuce tomatoes spread nothing just chicken and bread. I got the crab cakes, simply put worst ever. The young man got the shrimp po boy simply put noting to brag about, the other 2 meals were edible. The employees were all polite for the most part, just don't ask for anything on the side (like lettuce and tomatoe). I'm sure everyone has their own opinion, but mine is it was nothin like I was looking forward to and not worth the drive and money. I really wanted to be able to leave a better review. Disappointed Response to the response. We were not there for several hours, our remaining party showed up within 30 minutes of us sitting at the table. Mr. Parsons did accommodate the ask for items, as he seemed annoyed by her asking for the things. I told my daughter when she arrived how upbeat and hands on Mr. Parsons was, this review is my honest opinion of the place, it seems as if you don't get 5 stars on every review you get offended, which shouldn't be the case. No one is perfect and no restaurant is perfect. Also, if it had been explained to us how to get the check and pay the bill we would not have been sitting so long after the...
