Avalon Country Club - Squaw Creek — Restaurant in Vienna Township

I really dont remember much of the entire weekend...I know my liver hurts really bad....my dinner of white popcorn 2 milky ways and a bag of blue diamond almonds was 5 star.....the breakfast was very enjoyable for the 7 minutes it stayed in my stomach....the courses are challenging but seem to get easier after 13-15 beers on the front nines....I was told the back nines were very nice as well....golf carts are fast and they come with free beverage coolers....lost my roomate first night...the security staff was very kind to walk him to his car where he could sleep comfortably then leave the property next morning....$600 for his weekend did not go to waste....i got to push the beds together like camping with air matresses and felt like a king....at several times thru the weekend i lost a hat...a belt...my phone...but managed to not lose my shoes again....which was nice...the pool was great....no backflips...canonballs...jack knifes are permitted however all were performed to an olympic standard....security again was so nice to escort me to my room where they tucked me into bed at 3pm...all in all....5...

Not sure what happened. Brought some friends for dinner and sit on the patio, which is beautiful. Saturday nite, beautiful weather, no one there. One would think the service would be ok. It wasn't. It was awful. After seated at our table, we watched 2 innings of the Indians with no waiter in sight. I was totally embarrassed. Bragged it up, and ended looking like a fool. Waiter had to be new. I sure hope he was cause he was terrible. Nice young man but had no clue had to do the job. I really don't like to complain coming from a retail background...but wow, I am so disappointed. After we ordered, the food did come quite quickly and was pretty good. Moved to the bar after dinner, still with my check in hand...because our waiter would get lost for a long time. Couldn't get the bartender to even acknowledge us. 15 minutes later, we gave up, found our waiter and paid our bill. Needless to say, not a great experience. Friends were there, they were also experiencing crappy service. And we all commented how slow it was...could there be a...

Awesome golf course! Was really wet, understandably with the recent rain but would expect a course of that caliber to have better drainage and take the water a little better. Some of the tee boxes were a little beat up and uneven. Other than that, it was a beautiful, challenging course. Definitely need to plan each shot carefully if you want to score well. The greens are pretty good size and roll true. They were immaculately manicured. Probably the best I've ever 3 putted on 😉. Would like to try it again when the weather...
