Buzdums Pub & Grill — Restaurant in Village of Germantown

Was told the new breakfast was supposed to be good, so we decided to try it for my birthday. We got in about 9am, where the bartender was playing bar dice with what I can only assume was the 3rd shift crowd. So we sat at the table and waited patiently for someone, anyone, to even acknowledge our presence.

About 20 minuites later a staff member walked by and said, “oh I didn’t notice you.” I replied, I waved to the bartender when we came in?” To which the staff member stared blankly at us, rolled her eyes, then walked away. So we grabbed our stuff and decided to try elsewhere to get some breakfast. As we were leaving, the bartender shouts, “oh, so now you’re just gonna walk out? Real nice!”

What did you expect us to do? Sit and be ignored for another 20 minutes? The food might be good, but I guess 3 people will never know, as you couldn’t get me through the doors of this place again. Horrible service. Avoid...

I was here a few months ago. They didn't have a waitress, which is fine by me I'm cool ordering at the bar, but while I waited to do so the bartender took SEVERAL drink orders for people already sitting there, and then acted extremely put-off that we wanted to order food. Afyer taking our order she asked where we would be, to which I replied, "In the next room." since the bar was full/loud, and most of the seating was taken anyway. She ROLLED HER EYES at me and walked away. I've never been so disrespected by a stranger in my entire life.

I understand that she was busy and working solo, which is rough, but that's a reason to not be friendly, NOT an excuse to be rude.

I was being polite/patient, so I genuinely don't understand why she was so annoyed at my existence. It's a shame, because the food/prices were excellent, but apparently I'm not welcome, so I'm...

You guys! I just found a pure gem. WONDERFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE, food is amazing, prices are wallet friendly. Let me just say, I've never felt more welcomed in any establishment. Especially, being that my husband is mixed. I'm not one for bashing or racial stereotypes and since l've married a mixed man, It's been weird. I hate to bring that up, but... it's reality..one I've never known or experienced... this just shows the purity of Germantown and all the amazing people here!!! This will be our new go to spot!!!! Great specials all week long with happy hour ending at 7:00pm DAILY! We had the Denver omelet & Steak/eggs! @buzdums thank you so much for your hospitality, professionalism, and kindness.
