Das Barrel Room — Restaurant in Village of Germantown

We were excited to try this place as it is right down the street from our home but will most likely not be returning. We arrived around 6pm and the server said she would be right with us, 15 mins later she came over to take our drink order and give us the menus. She dropped off our drinks 15 mins later and said she would be right back to take our order and another 15 mins goes by. We had a sitter and needed to get back and it had already been 45 mins and we hadn’t ordered so I made my way to order at the bar which is when the waitress saw me and snapped. She rolled her eyes, said she was on her way and if I couldn’t tell it was busy and I wasn’t the only customer. I was so upset I was about to leave but since I was starving and had Groupon I stayed. She apologized and took our order. The plus side is the food was great. At the end it took over 2 hours start to finish and I was very upset which is sad because it was our date night and it is so rare we get to go out. A Great Local Bar to Enjoy the Packer Game! I stopped here just before the Packer Game started to enjoy a drink after doing some Christmas Decorating at home. The bar was not too crowded and everyone was very friendly. Casey was an great bartender and the owners where also there and very warm and welcoming. I enjoyed two drinks while watching the firest half of the Game.....and decided to stay for a burger and fries and a glass of wine before I left. I am a wine girl and this bar has a nice wine menu and my burger was delicous. The bun came out toasted, the fries were seasoned and perfect! Great experience. This is my second time at this bar.... the other time I stopped here was about a month ago with my parents after dinner..... my Dad enjoyed the gambleing machines. So if you are looking to play a bit, this place offers those games as well. I look forward to Summer time again, as this Bar has a great outdoor...

Das Barrel Room is quickly becoming one of my favorite stops. I love the decor and feel of it, well kept and comfortable. Food is very good, and the service has been outstanding every time I have been there. The owner is present in most cases, keeps things running smoothly, and is very easy to talk to. A good guy all around. Recently, I was lucky enough to fall into a visit that had a great little blues band playing which made for a fun evening. Pricing is reasonable, and parking is plentiful. You can park on both sides of the building. They also have a back patio that is great in the warmer months or just good for a breath of fresh air anytime. They also have multiple TVs with some being very large and all are up-to-date. If you haven't been here already, it's definitely worth your time to...
