Trail Break Cafe Pizzeria & Patio Bar — Restaurant in Village of La Valle

The staff was really nice. If you're looking for the same tasting pizza as before, it's not. The 🍕 now is more doughy and just not for me, though you may like it. Lunch buffet is $12.95 salad buffet is $9.95 (I believe) and that does not include a drink. Total for two + tip was ~$40. Menu shots included. Please don't let this discourage you from trying it out, it's just my opinion. Restrooms were clean.

That's a pretty snarky response from a new business. Nowhere did I say it should taste like the former owner's pizza. I said it didn't. When a business is in the identical location, with an almost identical name, and the reviews from the former business were merged with the new... what do you think people will believe...

From my understanding they recently switched to a new pizza crust along with updating some ingredients as well. Per other reviews I personally did not care for there crust. But last night we tried it again. The pizza was fantastic. The crust is a much fresher and lighter crust. It was crispy and the taste was great. We also had there giant pretzel which was one of the best pretzels we have had. If you maybe tried in the past and was not happy please try there pizza again. It will be well worth your time. Service was very good. Jaiden was very attentive to our needs. They are still working out some kinks so yes orders can sometime take a little longer. Remember they just opened again. We wanted to try the breakfast brunch. When we got there the owner and his family were there, they (along with most of the town) had no electricity for over 4 hours from the over night storm . They said come in and we’ll make breakfast for you anyway. Despite no electricity they served us a wonderful spread and the 3 grandkids ate well. The food was great and plentiful, Bacon, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, warm doughnuts for the kids to put sprinkles on the food just kept coming.
