We were excited to come here as we have gone to the Sheboygan Pizza Ranch for over a decade now and always loved it. Sadly, despite this being a new restaurant with potential I will not be coming back and strongly urge you to use discretion before coming here. The place itself is clean, the food is a good value, and the staff is very friendly. However, the set up for the buffet is not ideal as everything is in one big line which is right next to the entrance and cashiersâ area. This means the people getting food are walking into those coming into the restaurant and paying. It is quite awkward. Also, if you ask for a special pizza to be made, they donât bring it to your table (like other Pizza Ranches) but rather make you go up to the counter in which they put pieces on a plate you have to then bring back to your table. So, if everyone at the table wanted that pizza, they all have to go up at the same time. But the main issue was how a man claiming to be the owner came up to our table and started talking to us about the history of the name of the restaurant. All seemed fined until he asked if certain members of our party were of âconservative valuesâ after which he expressed he was. Excuse me? But what does that have to do with pizza and in what world is it appropriate to ask a stranger who is a paying customer about their political beliefs? Politics should 100% stay out of the workplace, especially with how touchy certain subject matters are right. It really is a shame as I used to love Pizza Ranch. I am actually glad I found this out before I wasted anymore time and money here. I will not be supporting this establishment...

We have been to the Lisbon Pizza Ranch twice now for carry out, and will warn you to watch how they're ringing up your order! You can order everything included in one of their advertised deals and be charged almost double the advertised price. The first time, we decided to get pizza and ordered 2 mediums (2 for $22 deal) and a small cheesy ranch stix with marinara for $7.99 (which we never received the dipping sauce). What should have cost somewhere around $30, we were instead charged nearly $54! The second time, we ordered the 12-piece Chicken Family Meal, which comes with family sized mashed potatoes and gravy for $29. We added a family corn for $10.99 and a single mac and cheese for $4.99. All this should have been around $45. We were somehow also charged for a family sized gravy when the mashed potatoes already came with gravy (no one needs that much gravy) and ended up being charged over $80!
This location also doesn't seem to be as well organized as another Pizza Ranch I visited while on a road trip years ago. I remember being impressed with all the different kinds of pizza out on the buffet, all clearly labeled so you knew what they were. The Lisbon location seemed more like a free for all, mystery pizza buffet. And people kept coming up ordering pizzas that weren't out on the buffet and then having to pick up slices from the counter once they were ready. This all made the front area very congested.
Overall very disappointing...
Read moreFirst off, for $17 ea for adults for the buffet, you better eat a lot of food to get your money's worth. I get that dessert and a drink are included in that but heres my thinking. I can go down the street to the leading local mom and pop restaurant named after where you cook your food in your house (if you're from the area, you know). I can get a quality meal cooked fresh, with fresh ingredients, with friendly hometown service for about the same price. Plus if you drink, you can have a nice cocktail too. Back to pizza ranch, when we visited tonight (Saturday 12-7-24), of course they ask for a 15,18 or 20 percent tip right away when you pay upon arrival. On a buffet, before you've received any kind of service at all. Then there were no labels on any of the pizzas, so you just have to make your best guess. In the game zone, there was one employee working the counter so my son and I probably spent a solid 30-40 minutes just waiting in line 3 different times at that counter. Tons of unattended kids jumping in line and being obnoxious. We might go back to play some games for fun, but the overpriced buffet will probably be a...
