Trail Side Sports Bar & Grill Weston — Restaurant in Village of Weston

UPDATE: I have returned a few times since my first review. The food has always been great! Plus they will make things to your specifications. Example: They have changed the menu and removed my favorite item. But when I mentioned it, they where able to make it. THAT was great! Today I had the "Big Boy burger" 1/3lb burger, bratt patty, cheese pickles and onions. ($10) worth every bite!

OLD REVIEW: I just moved to the area awhile ago and am still scoping out good places to eat. Well this is another keeper. Staff is great, food is very good! They use locally sourced meats and boy do they taste great! And if you ask for medium rare, you get medium rare! See pics. I see they use Neuskies bacon and if your passing through the area, and you love bacon, either get some at their retail outlet, a gas station or a local restaurant!

So this is a nice neighborhood / country bar. Great prices and plenty of parking. Ill def be back. Only sad face is they only have fish on fridays, But! I see they have blue gill on the Friday menu! (Mmmmm) Oh I will be back for that! So add 3 smiley faces!

The Food is amazing! The Fish Fry is the best around! Atmosphere is pretty good, as I have met some of the nicest ppl there so far. However, the service is what bothered me the most. I walked in 9/27/24 to order a drink, and some food to go. While waiting, I was noticed by the skinny blonde bartender, (Haley) but she ignored me, and started socializing with some ppl 4 barstools down from me making casual talk. This was approximately 8pm while the kitchen closes on Fridays @ 830pm. It was extremely busy, and all I wanted was some food, and maybe a few drinks before going home after a long shift. The other bartenders noticed this as well, and came to my rescue before the kitchen closed. Idk what was behind this, and hoping to be treated better next time. Again, the food was well...

We were passing through the area and the reviews were positive so we stopped. We like to try different restaurants on our adventures. Sometimes we are pleasantly surprised and other times we are disappointed. This time we were amazed. The food was well thought out and prepared to perfection. I wanted to try their burgers but the daily special was a flatbread pizza I could not pass on. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED!! The fries were absolutely amazing. Just basic thin cut fries done well are something to remember. On top of a quality product the prices reflect the passion of the owner. A quality product that is affordable so people keep coming back. Im not sure you will find a better value for your anywhere in Wisconsin. We will stop again every time we are...
