The Oak Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Vinita

We drove into Vinita on our way to San Antonio! Google’s nearby restaurants trying to find a decent sit-down place to eat at after 9-1/2 hours on the road on. Sunday and found the Oak Bar and Grill! While the exterior is exactly what one would picture for a little local place, the quality of food and atmosphere were a surprise! Husband ordered the fries pork rinds and was in heaven! The burgers were cooked to perfection and the seasoned fries were cooked to perfection, just crispy enough on the outside but tender and flaky on the inside! Everything was served piping hot! Was playing music on the jukebox for my 3 year old daughter when I’m assuming owner turned it off and started talking crap about the song! Was Very unprofessional in my opinion. Will not eat there again! If you have a jukebox that customers pay to play then deal with the songs or take the songs off it! And for dang sure don’t talk crap about it while you are drinking beer and in front of everyone!!! After investigating with the Owner the person I assumed was owner was not!!! We’ve been twice and are amazed with the food and the service. 100% grass fed beef and the chicken sandwiches are amazing delicious. The okra was delicious both times. They gave us a basket of real pork rinds that were so crispy and delicious. Then to top it off we had the home made dessert that was out of this world delicious. I would honestly recommend that anyone who is concerned with making healthy food choices to check this one out. It is our favorite place to eat now.
