A Taste of Home at Pisco Paradise

At Pisco Paradise, stepping through the door feels like a warm embrace from family. From the moment we arrived, the friendly staff greeted us with genuine smiles, instantly making us feel at ease. As a family-friendly restaurant, this welcoming atmosphere was the highlight for my wife, our 1-year-old daughter, and me.

Unlike the usual bustling Spanish eateries, the ambiance here surprised us with its calming lofi pop music, setting the perfect backdrop for a relaxed dining experience.

Our culinary journey began with the Pollo a la Brasa, accompanied by a generous serving of salad and perfectly cooked fries. The salad boasted a harmonious blend of flavors, while the rotisserie chicken lived up to its reputation with its juicy tenderness and authentic Peruvian flavor. The addition of beans, though unexpected, proved to be a delightful complement to the dish.

For dessert, we indulged in the Arroz con Leche, which, while delicious, caught us off guard by being served cold. Despite this minor deviation from tradition, the dessert still satisfied our sweet cravings.

Overall, our experience at Pisco Paradise left us eager to return. My wife, a native of Lima, Peru, attests to the authenticity of the cuisine, making it a must-visit for those craving genuine Peruvian flavors. With generous portion sizes and reasonable prices, this hidden gem offers an unbeatable combination of authenticity, flavor, and value. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a culinary adventure without...

A Culinary Gem: The Best Restaurant Experience

Nestled in the heart of Virginia Beach, Pisco Paradise stands as a beacon of culinary excellence. From the moment you step inside, the ambiance exudes warmth and sophistication, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining journey.

The menu, a masterful blend of innovation and tradition, showcases the chef's commitment to using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. Each dish is a work of art, meticulously crafted to tantalize the senses.

Service at Pisco Paradise is impeccable, striking a delicate balance between attentiveness and discretion. The staff's passion for hospitality shines through in their knowledge of the menu and their genuine desire to ensure every guest feels welcomed and pampered.

The ambiance effortlessly complements the culinary prowess. Elegant dƩcor, soft lighting, and tasteful music create an atmosphere that is both inviting and intimate, making it ideal for any occasion, from a romantic dinner for two to a celebratory gathering with friends.

In summary, Pisco Paradise is not just a place to eat; it's an experience to savor. Whether you're a seasoned food enthusiast or someone simply seeking a remarkable dining experience, Pisco Paradise exceeds expectations on every level. Prepare to be delighted, because this is, unequivocally, the best Peruvian...

I’m a Peruvian and I’ve eaten Peruvian food in three states (California, Tennessee and Virginia). We have eaten at all 4 of the Peruvian restaurants here in VA Beach and I’ve been disappointed in all of them. Pisco Paradise opened in March 2024 and we had high hopes. The place is small and sparsely decorated. My wife and I ate the Lomo Saltado. It was ok but at a price of $22 each we expected great not just ok. Most Peruvian restaurants bring you a bottle of the Salsa Verde (creamy spicy sauce) but here you get a small amount in a little cup. Put the sauce into a squirt bottle and put that on the table don’t dole it out like it’s made of gold. We wanted Anticuchos but they were out of stock. It’s a popular item so I would expect them to have not run out on a Friday afternoon. Overall not bad but for the prices they are charging I’d suggest you eat elsewhere. *On a side note: the floors were so slippery that I nearly fell when walking out of the restaurant. That could’ve...

šŸ šŸ’« NEW VB RESTAURANT ALERT šŸ’«šŸ  Pisco Paradise opened yesterday, and it is a Peruvian hole in the wall. I haven’t tried anything like either of these dishes, and I was pleasantly surprised. I got the Tuca tuca mariscos and it was phenomenal. I also loved the little warm corn complimentary appetizer in place of chips and salsa. It’s Located on the corner of Central Dr. and London Bridge Rd. Honestly, one of the only restaurants in this area given it’s so close to Oceana and the Industrial Yard. The location will hopefully help as there’s nothing in that area but offices and warehouses. Small, family-owned. I hope it lasts! Great lunch spot, not suitable for large parties as it’s a fairly small restaurant. Kids menu, sides, and desserts on back too. Food was great, server was super sweet and attentive, good vibes.

The Tacu Lomo I had was decent but slightly on the salty side and was drowned in an excessive pool of juice from the lomo. The flavors were okay, but nothing outstanding. However, the house cremas added a much-needed boost to the taste—I highly recommend trying the yellow and green crema with every meal. Unfortunately, the service was very slow. I waited nearly 30 minutes for the first dish and another 45 minutes for the second, which made the overall experience less enjoyable. There’s potential here, but improvements in service and consistency would make a big difference.
