Would give it 6 out of 5 stars, if I could!

Blue Ridge Bagels is my husband and I's favorite breakfast place in Lynchburg and overall!

Customer service is exceptional; always so kind! They have the best people!

We can count on their food being quality and consistent every time. Quite a variety of choices too, so we never grow tired of eating here, and we have not found a single thing on their menu we didn't like so far. Their food is amazing! Amazing taste, great quality, and fresh, healthy ingredients.

And a great price too, for what you are getting. More reasonable than most other places, which is another reason we love coming here!!!

In summary: Great people, excellent food, all at an affordable price! Other places, we have found to be a hit-or-miss, but Blue Ridge Bagels delivers every time and has never once left us dissapointed!

Oh, and great Gluten Free selection as well! (Their GF bagels actually taste better than some other places' regular bagels.)

Note to the owner(s): We especially loved the Red Pepper Gouda soup! Please keep making that more often! ❤

Time and time again I've heard awesome recommendations for this place. People telling me it's the best bagel they've ever had, that they would trade their first-born child for a bagel and I've even seen some folks who've moved away from the area come back JUST to eat here.

So I decided to drop in and see what all the hype was about....

While I'll admit it was okay, honestly it didn't change my life. I ordered bacon, egg and cheese on an everything bagel and, if I'm being honest, it was pretty bland. It just wasn't what I was expecting after hearing such raving reviews.

That said, the place really does have a great atmosphere. There's plenty of seating (unless you go on a Saturday morning during the school year when, literally, about every student from Liberty decides to get breakfast there) and it's nice place to sit and talk with friends.

I'll also say the prices were decent, the coffee, while nothing to write home about, was good, the staff was friendly and there was plenty of parking.

Overall, I'd likely go back, but pretty sure I wouldn't trade my...

OH MY GOODNESS.... Do yourself a favor and visit this amazing little place!! We were driving back from vacation and thankfully found this incredible gem along our route! Barry greeted us with a big welcoming smile and was such a sweet, pleasant man it just added another level of awesomeness!! The customer service was on point and he even had us giggling over the delicious options they had to choose from for their breakfast sandwiches! They also have insanely tastey selections of doughnuts and other baked goods and homemade cream cheeses; they even offer lunch items which sounded really good too! Once we placed our order, we helped ourself to make our coffee and our breakfast bagels were ready in no time! We got in the car and were totally blown away by the scrumptious creation we had gotten! Needless to say, we devoured them and were beyond stoked that we had come across this fantastic spot! It was absolutely worth the small detour and the prices couldn't be beat for their quality! We live about 3 hours away but I'll definitely come back here again!! 💜...
