My son took us to Orchard Mountain for a fun afternoon and scenic view. We enjoyed our visit and the place was nice and we bought some apples and apple cider donuts. Then we went to the Bold Rock tasting room which was very inviting. I found it a disappointment for them to be charging that amount of money for four small cider samples. How can they try to justify charging more for the small samples than a pint of hard cider? This seems like another example of a business over charging and greed. I have been to many tastings where you are given a sample for free. BTW I also feel $6 per pint is excessive. Maybe the actual Bold Rock location would be worth the visit but after this experience I have no desire to visit or ever buy their product. Only their location at Orchard Mountain saved their 3 star review and rating. If I were a local I would find other visitor destinations. PS after a visit to Blue Mountain brewery for a local point of reference my review of Bold Rock dropped to two star. Their price for samples is too high for what...

Visited this winery last weekend and, let me tell you, it was an experience to remember! This winery isn’t just about the wine, it’s about the whole atmosphere. Nestled atop a hill, with quaint little tables spread out, it felt like we were picnicking in the countryside.

The vibe of the place is immediately captivating with its beautiful array of flowers adding to the charm. The soft background music was a lovely touch, creating a perfect ambiance for wine tasting.

Speaking of the wine, it was nothing short of excellent. We sampled a variety of their offerings and each one was better than the last. I have to mention their rosquillas as well – absolutely delicious!

Overall, if you are looking for a place that offers quality wine, amazing food, and a picturesque setting, this apple barn is a must-visit. A true hilltop haven for all the wine...

We visited earlier this week and about 20 minutes after we arrived, there were torrential downpours. We were stuck inside with two other groups for about 45 minutes before it let up enough for us to go to our cars. During that time, the bartender Mary was incredibly kind, so sweet to our 2 and 4 year old daughters, personable, and calming. She gave us drink recommendations and kept our girls happy with sparkling apple juice. When we were finally ready to leave, she took two trips out to our cars with us with her umbrella to help us get out safely and as dry as possible. We were touched by Mary’s kindness and generosity all evening. Not to mention the gorgeous views and...

Been going here for about 8 years now. It’s grown quite a bit over the past couple’s years. We usually come in the summer for peach picking and it’s always a great time. Views are amazing, cider and donuts are delicious. This year we came in October for apple picking. It was a holiday and extremely crowded. They also charged a fee per person to get in plus a min of 1 bag per 2 people to pick apples. This was a bit of a surprise since this is not the case during peach season. Staff said it due to being a holiday during season. I would definitely recommend peach picking on a summer weekend but and if you want to pick apples go on a weekday. Way to crowded and avoid the extra fees.
