This place is a hidden gem. My husband and I originally planned to go for a late breakfast at eggexpectations when we pulled up and saw that they were no longer in business and had closed! What’s up with that? This place was always busy every time we went. So being somewhat new to the area, I did a search for restaurants near me. Brooklyn Brothers showed up right next-door and they had good reviews. So we said , why not?

We went in and a pretty young lady greeted us and sat us at a booth. We were the only ones there, but it was after the lunchtime rush would’ve been. We were promptly served drinks but it took us a while to decide what we wanted to order because there were so many things on the menu that sounded really good. We ended up ordering their signature, Brooklyn Brothers pizza to share, and my husband ordered a regular salad and I ordered a modified house salad(added feta and olives, sort of like a Greek salad). The salad greens were fresh and it included roasted peppers, fresh red onions and cucumbers and cheese. It was a very nice sized helping. When the pizza came, my husband and I looked at each other - if it tasted half as good as it looked, we would be happy. Well, I have got to tell you, it is some of the best crust I have had in years, and I am Italian! Plenty of meat toppings and nice and cheesy. My husband commented that it’s one of the best pizzas he has ever had in his life and he is 66 years old… Lol We couldn’t believe we had lived in the area almost 7 years and had never come to this place. We asked how long they had been in the area, 16 years!

Anyway, sorry for the long review. The food selection is numerous, the prices were fair, the atmosphere is nice and clean, and the staff was attentive . I can tell you now it will become one of our regular...

Place honestly just isn't good, all the food wasn't hot, it was luke warm, the pizzas tasted like they were sitting out for like 20 minutes, there was no cheese pull, the taste wasn't bad but pizza should be hot and fresh when eaten like everything, I don't pay for a pizza that has been sitting out that's not hot. The chicken tenders were pretty good, hot and fresh, honestly, some of the best I've ever had. The Calzone was the worst Calzone I've ever had, we got the basic calzone, cheese and rigolta, aka (ricotta) it was like 90 percent cheese, the cheese was so tough and dry, it was almost like eating gum, when the calzone first came out it wasn't hot either. Food is meant to be hot and fresh when eaten. People don't pay for food to be old and not hot. Everything was pretty bad. The service was pretty good. I guess nothing exceptional, no complaints, though. The atmosphere is terrible. They had weird old guy walking all around the restaurant, like he was having a panic attack, he was doing weird movements , tlaking weird, acting very intense, he was just really weird and making my family uncomfortable. They had a Pac-Man machine, but it didn't even work. The place is clean though, mainly the old guy just made it feel weird, I think he may have been on some type of drugs or was drinking I don't know, but he was weird. Prices also just aren't worth the terrible food and risking your life around some crazy weird old man that might just snap. NEVER...

We were driving back from a nice day in Shenandoah National Park and were looking for place to have dinner. We were driving on Route 29 and remembered there was a shopping center at the intersection where we were approaching but didn't know what was there for sure. Turning in we discovered Brooklyn Brothers Pizzeria. We ordered from the menu and enjoyed an appetizer while we waited for the main course. Like the appetizer, we were so appreciative of how hot and fresh the wood was! We like leftovers for lunches during the week, but the food was so good that we cleaned our plates with nothing left over. We wish we lived closer to this restaurant because we would frequent it much more regularly. If you great tasting food with great customer service and great prices, check this place out. We will go again and have pizza and believe we will find it to be just as fresh and tasty as the meal we had already. I definitely recommend...

I don’t often post negative reviews, but felt strongly about this isolated experience. We have dined in and gotten take out on a consistent basis since Brooklyn Brothers opened. Tonight we ordered pizza and my son ordered Spaghetti and Meatballs. The pizza was excellent, but the pasta barely had any sauce. I spoke to the server about it and she brought a small ramekin of sauce. When we got our bill, I found she charged us 85 cents for the sauce. It’s not the 85 cents, it’s the principle. I’m disappointed our server didn’t discuss this with me. I would have gladly taken this up with the manager had I been informed. I normally tip 25-30% of the taxes total. I was not as generous this evening and Brooklyn Brothers has lost a consistent customer over 85 cents.

Update: 1/18/25 - Stopped in for lunch and we had a Steak & Cheese, BLT & the Fettuccine Alfredo. We all enjoyed everything and the service was amazing. This is a great pizza place that is hidden in this shopping strip. We started with the calamari, it was a little thicker than I am used to but it was still very good. I also had a Caesar salad which was very fresh. We got a 16-in sausage pepperoni mushroom and onion and it is probably one of my top five favorites in the area. I love the taste that the brick oven offers and the wait staff were very pleasant and friendly as well as top notch service. I will definitely be coming back for more.

Was pleasantly surprised. From outside we thought it was super small and was going to be an order at the counter type deal with a few tables, plastic chairs and paper plates. Instead, it's much bigger than we thought, it's a proper sit down restaurant, great service and the pizza and mozzarella sticks were great. Bif TV's, big parking lot and easy to to. Great meal for post golf at Stone Wall, not even 10 minutes up the street.
