Hardee's — Restaurant in Virginia

I place my order online. Waited for it .... over 20 minutes. About 10 minutes into my wait one of the employees sneezed and then did not wash his hands. Another customer and I were discussing this and I went up to the counter and asked him quietly and as discreetly as possible to wash his hands. The kid argued it wasn't necessary because he sneezed into his arm. I asked for the manager and she was busy making sandwiches. I said I understood and would wait. During this time the kid finally washes his hands at the sink in front. Both visible and you can hear the water running etc. ... but this is after he had handled several orders.

In the meantime, the other customer left without ordering because he was disgusted.

My food came up and the kid was handling it. The milkshake was 1/2 full and was "watery" like machine is broken or something.

The kid was arguing and actually swore at me.

The manager finally came up and was extremely rude. Told me that we need to be more patient with the kid because it's his 1st job & he doesn't know any better.

Uhhhh ... at 16 he hasn't been taught to wash his hands after he sneezes and not to argue or swear at customers?? She defended him and was talking garbage about me so I could hear. I explained that I had tried to ask him quietly to wash his hands so to not embarrass him. Instead both of them made a huge scene. I asked for the DR'S name and contact info. She came back and gave me a piece of paper with the "info" stating DM is on vacation for 2 weeks ... but then said she was going to call him now??? I tried calling and the number was bad. Tried calling a few other Hardee's and they gave me a different name of the DM ... inthe same area. Deplorable hygiene with the afternoon staff and horrendous...

We waited at front to order because a employee couldn't sign in due to manager being in office in the phone then he finally took order went to get drinks I got sprite hubby got coke we'll took a sip and they were awful both were out so told a girl there she came and had to taste them first to tell us there really out then she went to change them she changed the sprite and Dr. Pepper which he had wanted coke so evidently they were all out then waiting over ten mins for food which I was fine with so it would be fresh I'd be happy to wait then orders ready my burger was cold and my husband's was not even the correct burger so he went back up to tell them they start making it then they call out it's ready the manager my husband said I'm standing right here she don't say anything sticks it in the warmer and my husband stands up there tells the guy at the register can I please have my burger so he goes and gets it and it's just terrible dripping mayo ketchup from it we have been doing this every weekend for a few weeks it's been bad here because no help and poor management but this was awful for 40 some dollars down the drain because we left hungry because the cold burger I didn't eat and the messy one of my husband's it slipped out his hand to the table from the sloppy mess so what a night are get...

I was out getting dinner with my family of 5 all excited as to we’ve had positive experiences with Hardee’s in the past. However, when we walked in, we saw a bunch of lousy teenagers working themselves. I’m not one to automatically assume but they looked like they didn’t want to work there as one wouldn’t. But, they got my families order wrong. My one member of my family, got chicken tenders and ended up getting spicy chicken. My other family member, ordered a plain cheeseburger. What does she get? A cheeseburger with lettuce and tomatoes alongside ketchup slathered all over it. Me however, I ordered what I believe was called the superstar. It was a cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and NO SAUCE. I got mayo and mayonnaise are on the list of foods my doctor prescribed me not to eat.
