The more important thing that you need to know about his place is that they do not accept credit cards of any kind. Yes, there is a notice on the door that says so, but how many people read papers on door of a restaurant when they go in hungry? The waitress didn’t mention it when she gave the menu to me. The food average. The bowl of chili was made mostly by red beans, not a lot of flavor or meat. The menu of the day was alright, the mac and cheese perhaps the best item; the fried pork chops were edible and the green beans, good. Time to pay the bill. I handed up my C.C. just to be told by the waitress, that cash or checks are only accepted. She was gracious enough to trust me (Perhaps I look like an honest person or perhaps it has happened many times before) and told me that the gas station down the road, just about ½ mile apart, had a ATM machine.

So, I left and got cash there. Cost me $ 3 fee to use that ATM. I went back and payed…and said goodbye forever. I won’t be back; even I live just 5 miles away from the place. Restaurant management should use XX century procedures and accept C.C.s. Sorry. Not a...

A mostly locals diner with incredible food. Cash Only! Joined some friends for breakfast and it was packed. The high reviews and activity held up. Our waitress was prompt and attentive to us and many other tables. Our bacon, egg, and cheese biscuits were insane. The biscuits were fresh, soft but firm, and did not crumble one bit. The bacon was straight up the best breakfast bacon I have ever had. Best bacon I've ever had on a sandwich or burger. It was crisped to perfection. PERFECTION! The sausage gravy and biscuit was also tremendously good. The entire table cleaned their plates and were all beyond satisfied. So much so that some of us returned another day for lunch (we missed breakfast unfortunately). Same staff as before and just as good of a job. The locals told us to seat ourselves so we did. Very courteous. Our lunch meals were very good but took second to breakfast. My only feedback was the bacon on the second meal wasn't perfect like before. Had it been cooked a little longer, I imagine it would've been amazing. Definitely returning to hopefully experience that bacon once more....

VERY ACCOMMODATING..nice friendly atmosphere .we traveled from Baltimore to Luray Caverns for a weekend get away and found this place on Yelp. The food is pretty good ..and prices are low. However the portions were a bit on the small side .my husband and son both ordered the sirloin cheese steak with yellow American .we got white which wasn't that big of a deal but the subs wer really lavking in side and meat...other then that the service was Great 👍! Brandy was extremely attentive .she brought my little one 3 different coloring books and gave us suggestions on what we do around the area . JUST AS A SIDE NOTE ...THIS IS A CASH ONLY DINER! There is a note on the front door which can be overlooked very easily. I feel they should reinterate this for guests especially if their not regulars ....thank goodness we had enough cash to cover the bill and a tip...we typically do not carry cash.
