McDonald's — Restaurant in Virginia

Stopped in this location to get three breakfast burritos and a hash brown. The manager on duty Mitchell pulled the cashier from front counter to start handing out orders. Mind you it took me almost 10 minutes to get three breakfast burritos and then when the cashier handled my hash browns without washing his hands or gloves I requested that somebody get me a hash brown that's washed their hands after handling money. The manager Mitchell proceeded to inform me that they don't have to wash their hands quote unquote I asked really because I used to be a McDonald's manager in regardless of what state health laws are McDonald's policy is if you've handled your money touched your face any other part of your body or gone to the bathroom you wash your hands before handling a customer's food. I told him he could keep the hash brown which he did not offer to refund me for. And honestly if they don't have to wash their hands in the store I assume with that statement that they don't have to wash their hands after doing anything so the three breakfast burritos have also been thrown in the trash thank you for a wonderful experience McDonald's. I recommend nobody else eat here unless you plan on getting sick God knows I don't want to eat food after somebody's been scratching their private parts or handling money from somebody that's been scratching their private parts or handling money from somebody that's done drugs through a dollar bill or whatever else the case may be you do not handle food after handling money. First note I never post reviews but this experience was awful. We tried to make things easier by using the kiosk but our order didn't go through, nor did it give us a receipt. After about 8mins, I complained to the cashier as everyone else was receiving their order before us. Thankfully it was recognized by the cashier, so now were waiting approximately 13mins and still nothing, until the poor gentleman running around (to both the front & drive thru windows) realized he gave everyone else there food but ours & we were there longer. When he looked our receipt (provided by the cashier, NOT the kiosks), he gave us our food within 4mins but not the coffee my dad ordered. I asked the cashier about the coffee (but no sugar as requested). I asked about my O.J., the cashier said "I can take that one". Meh it's fast food. The fast food industry has been dying slowly and the cost is down right ridiculous. I don't normally eat this stuff but with work and travel sometimes this is all I can find. I will say McDonald's does have the best fries second to sonic. But just not really impressed. If your gonna charge us more for your food make it better.

4/26/25 update!!! WORST SERVICE EVER!! After waiting in the drive thru for what seemed like an hour when I finally pull up to order i am completely ignored. The line behind me went to order pount beside me where they continued to be served. 5 cars behind me were able to order. I said hello, shut my vehicle off so I was heard and nothing... so I went around inside and waited in the line to be told their machine is broken for my daughter's slushie. When asked to speak to a manager inwas told she is busy. I dont eat this garbage but my kids love their fries. Will not buy anything from this...
