Previously, my family and I had tried what the Capon Bridge location had to offer and loved it! Today, takes us to the Winchester location of Anthony's. I can tell you, we were not disappointed. LOVED THE FOOD! If you want great pizza and Italian food with friendly and helpful staff, this is the place for you! Like always, we tried an assortment of things to get an idea of what to expect. To start it off, we have the cheese pizza, the Hawaiian pizza, and their Sicilian Meat Lovers pizza. First thing I want to note... Most pizza chains when making a pizza, put way too much pizza sauce on their pizza's and the flavor can be overwhelming. Here, we had what you could call the "perfect" median for sauce. Just enough to give you the taste but still lets the toppings shine through as they should. Though the cheese pizza is your bare bones pizza, they cheese used and the seasoning on it really brings it to life. Pineapple on a pizza, love it. Still waiting for the day when someone decides to lightly caramelize the pineapple before putting it on top of the pizza. But, Anthony's is definitely giving you what you pay for. LOADS of salty ham to give you that combo wombo of salty and sweet, while that sauce adds to it with a savory touch. Now, the Sicilian... let me tell you. It was one of the best "deep dish" style pizza's and is loaded with so many great flavors. I will say, hands down the best I have ever had. Something I want to also point out about these pizza's... the crust. Anthony's crust doesnt need tons of butter and seasonings to make it stand out. It really is the best crisp, crunchy, yet soft and airy crust I've ever had. I'm not one who likes crust, but this I had to finish. The dough used is superb. Next on the list, is the Calzone. My wife is a fanatic over a great calzone. As you can see, I cut it in half to display what we were about to savor. The amount of ricotta cheese and mozzarella cheese was insane! Guys. Gals. My wife ate it and I swear to you, she cried a little and said it reminds her of home. She's from NJ and it reminded her of her childhood and after school days where her and her friends went to a local pizzaria to enjoy a calzone together. The dough used, must the be the same as the pizza, just thinned out. It was nice and crispy, had the good chew feels; and the generous dusting of parmesan was very good. Fries... everywhere you go. Someone has fries. Pizza fries, not everyone does. The fries were seasoned and tasted great on their own, but you add some cheese, sauce... you got something that is very appealing. Yet, have you tried a Zucchini frie? If not... try Anthony's Breaded Zucchini Stix. Usually, you would think it would either be too dry, or too soggy because of the water inside the zucchini. It wasn't. Far from it. It was crunchy, TENDER, and was really really good. Was something I wasn't expecting, but color me surprised. Now for the chicken wings. Anyone can do a chicken wing. Anyone can throw a sauce on it and say its good. My wife and I, sat there for a half hour trying to figure out if they pre-season the wings before saucing them or if its the batter/flour... we couldn't figure it out. It's not a complaint. It's a compliment. The wings were very generous in size, but the flavors were amazing. Like I stated, anyone can make a BBQ wing and theirs was good, but the Asian Spiced wings... they were SLAMMIN! It was like a bbq season and sauce with asian flavors. A nice strong taste of ginger permeated from them. As for the Chicken Sampler... I dont have anything bad or good to say about it. It's just chicken in different forms. You get wings, nuggets, and strips. For a picky eater that loves chicken and can decide for themselves what flavor to add to their meal through dipping sauces, much like my 7 year old, this would be ideal choice. Lastly, is the Lamb Strip Gyro. I wasn't overly impressed with it. It had good flavors, but my only complaint was the amount of sauce put on it. It was too much and most of it went back into the tray. Otherwise, it was good. Still worth enjoying!

I got one large pepperoni pizza and one large pizza with everything. The pepperoni pizza was burnt so bad all about half of it that we could not eat it. The grandson had plucked some of the toppings off. But if I just wanted toppings I would have ordered something else. Highly disappointed for $46. Hey sure the one pizza was okay but we needed both pizzas to feed all six of us. So I had to run out and get something else to eat. Not exactly what I consider a great weekend

I periodically stop here when we are traveling by. The staff are always friendly, and seem to really care about customer service. The food is good. Of all the menu items I think my favorite may be their boneless wings. Absolutely delicious. I would say this is the best Anthony's location in the area.

If you are craving some good food... This is the place to get it at without a doubt. I just gobbled down a Philly Cheese Steak special with extra meat/bacon, a couple slices of Pepperoni Pizza and washed it down with a Mountain Dew... I'm extremely satisfied and as full as I could get! Everything was of superior quality! I got 2 of their Everyday Lunch Specials that are from 11am to 4pm, I was shocked for a moment when I was told the price... but in a good way! The wait time I was told was shorter than the actual arrival time, which was great since I was just sitting there starving and waiting for it!

The delivery driver was extremely professional and very friendly! He had a warm, welcoming smile.

I will be ordering from this absolutely fantastic pizza place again and again! I've been eating from here for so long it's a bit crazy, I remember my mother would pick me up a Philly Cheese stake every year for my birthday because I love them that much! If I was having a bad week I would order from here and it always gave me a reason to smile.

I lived in Richmond for about a year and boy let me tell you what! I was craving this food the whole time! I would get a cheesesteak from a local place... and yes it was good but it was no Anthony's!

I literally compare every cheese steak or pizza I get to Anthony's, I use this place as the example of the highest standard of excellence!

Even the person on the phone who I ordered from was super friendly! If you understand the term "Make them feel your smile through the phone/headset." he definitely did that!

20/10, double thumbs up, gold...

I’ll start with, I’ve been going there for 3 years now! Tonight was absolutely disgraceful, disrespectful by owner!!! I asked for simple large extra cheese, please no sauce showing, and for the driver to notify me when 10 minutes away as I live downstairs, nope didn’t get the 10 min heads up, driver claimed she didn’t know nor not told, to I check the pizza, well there was red showing everywhere. That’s not extra cheese or no red sauce showing so I called and owner tot he phone and he was short, kepted on interrupting, disrespectful and made excuses. Well my kids wouldn’t eat it all! And yes I was mad enough after paying over $30.00 plus I tipped the driver $10.00 I drove to the restaurant, and they knew when I walked in and he says what’s the problem let me see it! So I showed, and he gives many excuses to it’s the best I can do maybe next time you ask for 3x cheese and I didn’t even get to finish what I was saying before he cut me off so I said excuse me I don’t want anything it respect and the same you want when someone speaks to you and he rolls his eyes and asks if I was drinking, and I asked as one or commits to concealed carry and I have a CDL with 3 endorsements, like I would take that chance. Why don’t you stop with the excuses (as he walks away to make pizza, when he pays the same 3 guys I’ve seen there to make and prep pizza) to what you want money? “Me” well no, I don’t I want respect, and what I ordered, I was specific about what I wanted ! And you...
