Packs Cones n More 522 — Restaurant in Virginia

Been coming to this Packs for years but won't be making as many stops as we did before because they have raised their frickin prices yet again and is so aggravating because seems like everyone is on the maximum inflation train these days even our ice cream stops. Wife and I got a medium sundae and a medium cone and was $12 dollars and change... rediculous! Not only have the prices gone up but the people working the stand are apparently new and making mistakes, the girl that made my cone made it twice and when she handed it to me the ice cream fell off the cone and all over my shirt, and to think I had to pay $12 for this. She then had to make it a 3rd time and told her to just put it in a cup. I know that we all like our little treats but think about it people almost $13 for a medium sundae and cone. We all need to stand up to this price gouging and refuse to give them our hard earned money so freely and take the power back. The economy is getting worse so we need bargains and fair pricing more than ever not being taken advantage of and...

I bring my kids here all the time. Normally I have a great experience. But tonight was terrible. While I understand mistakes are made, they obviously weren’t paying attention to what they were doing. After handing two of the orders out they remade them for some reason. Then they made the next order completely wrong. I was going to let it be, but then they made the next order wrong as well. So I said something. They replaced one of the orders they made incorrectly but completely disregarded the other order they made. Which ended up being thrown away, as my daughter was unable to eat the mistake they made. They continued to take orders and completely ignored us and continued to take and prepare other orders. I have worked in food service industry for years and if it is a mistake on the part of a server or the kitchen, it is replaced not ignored and expected to still be paid for. An absolute must-visit! This place is an ice cream lover's dream, and it’s a good thing, because you'll want to spend some time here.

The selection is truly insane: I tried to count the different ice cream creations and gave up somewhere north of a hundred. It’s not just about a ridiculous number of flavors; it’s about a ridiculous number of products, and every single thing I tried was unbelievably delicious.

The portions are huge, so you definitely get your money's worth - I'm just glad I don't live next door, or I'd be in trouble!

With tons of seating outside, it’s a perfect spot to just chill and enjoy your dessert.

I wonder if the owners of this treasure trove have considered franchising? I'm sure it would be a huge hit in my home state of Texas.
