Eating here is hit or miss for something like 18 years, since it opened. You will get a lot of food for a reasonable price here, usually. But, it's definitely quantity over quality. The pizza is atrocious and always has been. It falls apart when you pick it up and has no sauce. It won't fold and pretty much needs to be eaten with utensils. I don't think the oven gets hot enough to cook pizza properly. Also, the dough is definitely never fresh and doesn't really rise. Anything Italian on the menu isn't that great. Most people either like this place or hate it. I will give it a fair review though. I've found that the cheese steak subs are usually good. The service is fairly quick except for delivery. Their delivery service has always been poor. There is always a help wanted sign in the window. I have tried most everything on the menu and will only get a burger or a hot sub. You have to ask for napkins and if you desire more than two packets of institutional grade ketchup you'll need to ask. They always put the ketchup in the Styrofoam container with the fries and it's really hot when you go to use it. The deserts are good but not made in house. Today I got a cheeseteak and fries. The onions and banana pepper rings hadn't even touched the grill. The parking lot is small and awkward to park/maneuver in. I've hoped for a better establishment but gave up a decade ago. The place isn't exactly horrid but it's not that good either. If you read the reviews most of the 5 stars are generic and brief whereas the lower scores articulate some problem with the restaurant that was usually irreconcilable with management. I'll still eat here. I just try...
Read moreBeyond dissatisfied. We tried this place for the first time tonight. The customer service wasn’t even close to poor. I ordered 5 sandwiches at 7:05pm. We waited in the parking lot for 10 mins. Then went in. The hostess asked the kitchen when our order would be ready. They said 10 more mins. We sat there for another 20 mins. And waited, no one even said or spoke anything to us. When my husband asked them how much longer, and explained he had to be at work at 9pm. They said just a couple more mins. At this point. It was 7:45pm. Still no food. I asked to speak to the manager on duty. She acted as if it was such a huge inconvenience to deal with a customer complaint, I believe her name was Brianna or Breanna. She, legitimately said, “We are slammed. YOU keeping me up here is keeping me from doing my job. I have a kitchen to run” Guess what? We have lives and other responsibilities as well. First of all. Part of being a manager is dealing with customer complaints. Secondly. You do not argue, nor make excuses for your lack of professionalism. That is beyond the pale for customer service. A very horrid first time experience. I will be back on Tue to speak with the owner. This is inexcusable and her entire attitude/demeanor was unacceptable. It doesn’t take almost an hour to make cheesesteaks. Nor should you lie about the timeframe in which an order will be completed it’s also smart business practices to staff accordingly and not put people in Management positions who lack the knowledge, discipline and attitude to run...
Read moreWe ordered takeout tonight, and unfortunately the food was....impressively bad. My husband's sausage parm was so greasy it leaked out of the container AND out of the box that container was in. In fact, grease was pooled in the corners of the box. The garlic bread was butter bread. No garlic flavor at all. The pasta itself was a overcooked and mushy, and incredibly bland. Same for my philly. I understand having to season to personal taste, but everything we got seemed like it had never even seen salt or pepper, not to mention garlic or any Italian seasonings. My husband even commented about how bland everything was, and that man will eat almost anything. Considering the ASTRONOMICAL prices this restaurant has taken to charging, this should not be the quality of food given to customers. $15 for a sub I had to go home and fix? $20 for a dish of pasta that we ALSO had to go home and season? Garlic bread with no garlic? No, thank you. I should also mention that it was not even remotely busy. There was one couple in the restaurant. It's unfortunate, because the food here used to be decent. After this experience, there's no way we will be back. Maybe it was just an off day, but we aren't willing to risk another $40...
