El Tarasco Fresh Grill — Restaurant in Visalia

The worker here was so rude! My 85yr old grandmother ordered a chile relleno here and to our surprise it came full of seeds. Well she has diverticulitis and can not eat seeds. When i took the plate to the lady at the register and asked if they could make one without seeds or substitute with a enchilada she had a fit and ask me if i thought that they should just eat the cost of a $10 dollar plate, she said no then she asked what i wanted her to do with the chile relleno, put it back and resale it! We can't do that they're made to order. She said that i had to pay for another chile relleno or pay another $2 something for the enchildas! Wow, i think that's so wrong! I understand that they gotta make money but i feel also like we are the customers, we take our money to them, she's getting paid bcuz of us, were they really gonna hurt financially to make one extra chile relleno /enchilada.... come on! So my grandmother had to eat just the rice and beans! That pissed me off but i felt like she shouldn't have to pay extra. El Tarasco should of did the right thing and made their customer happy!!! I used to like coming here I originally gave this place four starts but my last five visits were disappointing to me because it took a long time to get my food it was only one burrito and I was the only one in line. The burritos are still the same size but now seem to have more potatoes than protein. Now the price seems over for the service and quality of my meals. Also ever time I have. One the chips tasted like they were old so I do t know if they just don’t make them fresh or don’t know how to make them like other restaurants. I feel like I’ve given enough visits to come to my conclusion that it wasn’t just one bad visit...

I recently visited this location this past Friday with my girlfriend for the chili verde wet burrito special.

The burrito comes in a decent sized portion filled with chili verde, rice and beans. Everything was flavorful and filling. Just the right amount of food without leaving you too stuffed or yearning for more. The special comes with a drink and a order of chips if you would like.

Definitely busy when we came in to eat but they got us our food and everyone else's food just as quick as they take your order. Definitely will be back to try out the rest of their menu and specials.
