Gee “Gee Emm” Marsh.Gee “Gee Emm” Marsh.
Not been here for over a year but it's had a refresh and looks better than ever. Staff is great, happy and smiling, and very attentive. Wife had tater tots with BBQ pulled pork and I had the Friday fish n chips dinner, with a difference. Broiled fish and sweet potato fries. Appetizers were great too. Couldn't eat everything so we get leftovers tomorrow. It has the best views across the Mississippi to the Wisconsin bluffs, a perfect backdrop to a lovely meal.

A serene mom n pop on a backwater major waterfowl flyway. The food is time tested great. The loaded tater tot concoctions and libations made me understand that I would be back every change of season.

There is plenty of parking and beautiful river views. There are several indoor tables overlooking the river, some outdoor seating, and even docks for you to park your boat at.

The staff was all very friendly. However none of the staff were wearing facemasks and half of the customers didn't appear to have any on hand either, despite the posted signs that the restaurant requires masks. It seemed like business like usual, despite the pandemic. Tables seemed a normal distance apart, there wasn't any social distancing.

The bloody Marys were good, but each one we got had slightly different garnishes. The first one had shrimp but the second one didn't. They were out of a few items. It took over an hour for the food to come out. The server barely came by to check on us. They were severely understaffed for a weekend. I'm not sure if that's standard or if that was a...

I dont recommend this place for doing events. Had a wedding rehearsal dinner here, asked for quotes for 2 different meals with non-alcholic drink, dessert, tax and tip included. Which I was sent price of 34.95 for prime rib and 28.95 for chicken. Also asked for one beer or glass of house wine to be served to those who wanted done. Also ordered 4 bottles of Andre champagne. Was charged 2.00 for each non alchololic drink, 6.00 for each glass of wine. 4.00 for each tap beer. Then160.00 for the 4 bottles of champagne which can be bought for 7.00 each. When I got bill was charged 161.00 for dessert which was suppose to be in meal quote, then another 229.00 for tip which was suppose to be in the meal quote. And another 57.00 for using a credit card to pay fir meal. All total was charged 549.00 more than I should have been. These people...

The worst dinner we had in a long time. Arrived early on a Saturday evening, the place was busy. Bar patrons were loud and the temperature inside nearly matched the 92* temp outside. My husband ordered prime rib medium rare, baked potato and salad. I ordered the Tequila chicken, hash browns and salad. The salads were not cold, limp lettuce. The prime rib had no color, appeared to be sitting in aujus. Baked potato was not baked through, hard and cold. Due to the lack of air conditioning the packets of butter were half melted and did not melt on the potato. Other prime rib plates served after us had plenty of color on their meat. The Tequila chicken was a plain chicken breast with a side of creamy salsa. Hash browns were good and hot. One star for not charging us for the prime rib dinner and giving us free drinks. Sorry we...
