The Chicken House — Restaurant in Wabbaseka

As a cross country traveler passing through small towns I never know what gems I'm going to find and this was one of my all-time favorites. This establishment had to be one of the cleanest, most organized counter service restaurants I've visited. Even the bathrooms were pristine. My chicken sandwich was absolutely delicious and the gentleman working the counter (who I presume is the owner) was delightful. I'd recommend this lunch spot to everyone and their mother.

Passing through out Northern MS, when hubby and I pulled up 10 minutes before closing and it was awesome!! The owner and his helper were the absolute best with the kindest spirits. The owner told hubby and I that we could order whatever we wanted even though they were preparing to close for the evening. I have to say that our 2- 2 piece catfish dinners were freshly cooked and so were the sides. The prices were exceptional and WE will be stopping back through everytime we pass...

Been here twice recently. Saturday morning, got 5 Chicken wings, dry and tasted like refried left overs from Friday. Today, 2 fish fillets n side of coleslaw. I get a big pile of Fries.... they take it to the back and i get seriously 3 tablespoons of slaw..... we'll be working here for the next 2 years. I'm NOT coming back to the...
