McDonald's — Restaurant in Waggaman

I live in Bayou Gauche next to this mcdonalds. When you have a family and you're constantly passing, it's hard not to come to this establishment for the convenience of the location. Since coming to this mcdonalds there has not been a time that I have either 1)Had to swallow my pride and just leave unhappy or 2)Ask for assistance since my order is always wrong and get attitude from even a manager. This company is ran POORLY, the employees, even managers have the most appalling attitude problem. The food is always cold and hard, they blame THE CUSTOMER for the order being wrong, and give you issues if you say something about it. I've literally had GLASS in my drink and was told that there's no glass anywhere in the kitchen and that I was a liar. The employees during the evening shift sit outside in the back, which is pretty much the entire drive thru, and smoke Marijuana. From the moment you pull up to McDonalds you can smell the pot and the employees either have headphones on and can't hear your oder or are so high that there is a communication barrier and the food looks like it was thrown into the bag. Seriously, an untrained MONKEY could do the job better than half of the employees. I can tell you there is one girl who is the most sweetest, caring, diligent workers I've ever met but the rest are just terrible. I can understand that working in fast food isn't a big deal to some people and it may seem dumb to others to complain about a fast food meal, but when I'm paying 20-30 dollars on food for my child and my family after a long day, I at least want my food to be correct. I've worked in fast food and ran restaurants and always have out of this world customer service because even if the food is wrong, all it takes is a smile and a quick fix! Waiting an HOUR to get an order of fries because the two employees working in the back with their headphones in high as a kite is where a line needs to be drawn. I also was denied to speak to the owner of this establishment. I no longer will be coming to this mcdonalds unless it's for a coke...

This is my absolutely favorite Mc Donald when going out of town knowing im going this direction it is a must stop for me. i have visited this McDonald a few years now at least twice a year they have an awesome staff always.A few years back i was traveling with my son and grandkids we were starving and stopped at this location they were closing so we turned to leave and the manager came and invited us in even though they were closing i fidnt want to hold them up but she was sp nice insisted we come in they cooked our food served us talked with us it was great it meant the world to me i was tired hungry and ready to find a bed an sleep. i always stop an it amazes me how no matter the shift how friendly and welcoming the staff is how they will go the extra for there huest its always very clean food is always hot i cant say enough about the staff i always wonder if they have the same staff over the years or is it just that friendly of an area i mean it is La it also says a lot about the management theredoing something right happy employees means happy guest i whole heartely recommend you stop at this McDonald over the years i have given up on Mc Donalds but this location and other i look forward an plan a stop when traveling in these 2 location areas again i want to thank management and staff for your outstanding customer service it is always a great experience incidently i have been in hospitality business for 45 years as a hourly and mNagement started at bottom an went as far as i could up the ladder and i can assure you im watching everything when visiting this location get. 10 out of 10 from me Thank you management and staff you...

My family and I stopped here to get something to eat before we got to New Orleans for a business meeting. We came into an empty restaurant except for a young man making sandwiches on the line. After waiting literally for ten minutes and seeing no one I asked the young man if anyone else was working that could take our order so he went to get someone. A lady came up front who I am assuming is a manager and very rudely asked the young man, "Is it her?" So I said yes ma'am it is me, we're all together and we just wanted to be able to place an order. She rolled her eyes and said, "well you can make it on the kiosk." I tried to explain we didn't know how to use it so she sighed and said, "Just don't worry about it, what do you want??" After being treated so rudely, I chose to leave without ordering and I definitely will NOT EVER STOP HERE AGAIN!! POOR SERVICE!!!!
