Shady's Long Shots — Restaurant in Wakefield Township

If I could give the service 0 stars, I would. I’ve been to numerous other Shady’s and throughly enjoyed the drinks, food, and service. This visit to long shots (not my first) was really upsetting. We waited 40 minutes to get half of our food, the other half took longer, and all other tables around us (including one that sat down after we ordered) got their food, drinks, etc right away. We waited for water pitchers, drinks, and worst of all our food which was cold upon arrival. I’ve served previously in numerous restaurants and I would have NEVER treated customers as we were treated. Not a single sorry, not a single comment about late food or drinks, nothing. No remedy no apologies. The cherry on top to our unfortunate evening at Shadys Long Shots, we verbalized our frustration and the waitress still took 15 minutes to run our cards, making sure all the tables around us were happy and had everything they needed before allowing us to leave and get on with our night after the terrible service we encountered.

This restaurant was really good, but lately the service reminds me of when the golf course managed the restaurant. It was really bad then and I'm seeing I similar atmosphere going on. My family and I visit frequently, and on our last visit we had to wait 15 minutes to receive a menu and waited 1.5 hours for our food order until we ultimately cancelled it. Not sure what's happened to this place but it has definitely changed for the worst. It wasn't that busy, and I herd similar complaints at the bar where one customer had still not received a simple appetizer order, going on 45 min. Hopefully things improve and get back to the level of service I know management is capable...

We have always come to shady's for their nacho platter. This time it was horrible. The nachos were piled very high on a pile instead of laid out nice like they used to be. Which left very little meat on the chips and very little cheese. Over half of the nacho chips on the tray were completely dry and had nothing on them. I wish they would go back to laying the nacho chips out flat on the tray and putting more meat and cheese on like they used to be. If they continue to serve this pile high nacho platter with very little meat and cheese we will not be ordering the nacho platter again. Which is sad because they did have the best nacho...
