For the past 4 years, my family has been visiting Vermont. One of our highlights has been Tootsies maple creemees. Tootsies was our first taste of this specialty. And nothing has compared ever since. We’ve tried others between Danville and Burlington, Newport to Middlebury… none have been as good. Tootsies always has the edge. We have always regretted not getting a larger size, not getting two, not being able to make the trip a second or third time. Today we had another chance to go…but it’s closed on Mondays (cry emoji).    Read moreWe'd been told by several folks to make sure we tried a Maple Creamee, so we stopped in when we saw the sign by this quaint little roadside shop. We ordered a small just to try it out, but the creamee was a real treat and we ended up getting a 2nd! As good as the creamee was, the staff here, Deb and Sue, were the real highlight of our visit. They both were so friendly and helpful. What a serendipity...
