Went here today! Drove alllll the way from Jacksonville and it was worth the drive! We ordered the blooming onion, fries, funnel cake, corn dogs and lemonade… The blooming onion was perfection!!!! The corn dogs brought back the nostalgia of going to the fair as a child down to the crispy fried pieces of corn bread at the bottom of the stick! The fries were cut potatoes (real potatoes) and you get a decent amount for the price…. Now let’s talk about this funnel cake. Due to some technical difficulties the oil took a while to heat up. He was more than friendly and while we waited we chatted about Jacksonville and about the events that were taking place at the Hawthorn Racetrack this weekend. We were even give a few deep fried Oreos as he apologized for our wait. Once it came up it was fresh and hot and tasted like the fair!! Over all the trip was well worth it! If I have only one complaint is was that they should add just a little more sugar to the lemonade😂😂😂😂😂😂. Prices were fair and good (especially compared to the actual prices at the fair) I would definitely make the drive back down there!!!! Awesome place and friendly people!

Drove past Fair Foods while on a drive. Wondered what it was, so Googled!!!! Stopped by purposely for 1st time 7/16/2022 while passing through Waldo. The concept is great - not having to wait for a fair or carnival to come to town to be able to indulge on Fair treats! Dan is the owner. He owns the land & built a great roadside stop, open every day. We enjoyed the Fish & Chips, Italian Sausage and Funnel Cake - all made fresh while waiting, and seated, at an outdoor picnic table (many available). We plan to stop again when traveling through Waldo and hope to try the burgers and more. Dan, you were a pleasure meeting. We hope for your continued success. A few suggestions that we offer with humble hearts: Cotton Candy Caramel Apples Ice Cream Cones Save the styrofoam containers if folks eat at the tables. In hindsight, we would have happily enjoyed ours on paper plates! See you again soon!

We stopped by the try this little hidden place out. To be honest the food was ok but we packed it up for later. There are two types of food. Good food freshly made and awesome cold leftover food that is amazing. After a few hours in the pool we busted open the plastic bag and devoured all of the food. It hit the spot. The fried oreos were great fresh and cold. Not all cold food is good to eat but this place gets 4 stars because it was leftover heaven.

Drove from Jacksonville with my boyfriend, was really excited to try the food. We get there and all the signs say open except the one on the window which said be right back. Now to me that implies a 5 to 10 break. My boyfriend called twice while there and no answer. After waiting for 20 minutes we left. After getting home my boyfriend leaves a review. The owner calls my boyfriend asking him to take the review down. Gets angry with him enough to hang up. His claim that he was too sick to be open or answer his phone when called sounds like an excuse to me since he called my boyfriend after the review was posted. I have seen other reviews where he has gotten upset with customers. Obviously he can not take an honest review of his business and has never learned the customer is always right. It's common curtsey to inform your customers that you are closed no matter what the excuse is. Leaving a sign saying you will be right back implies you will be in fact be right back not closed for the day. Had there been a sign just saying closed not be right back he wouldn't have gotten the review he did. Being rude to people after you misinformed the public is not acceptable for any business or owner. I listen to the call and my boyfriend didn't get "pissy" with the owner. It's a good concept for a business but the owner's attitude will be the death of this business if he...

Well I was very excited..... but after getting stale chips and cheese wiz (I mean "nachos and cheese") cold fries and then for the owner? (I guess) to argue about a drink I ordered and didn't get..... I spent 80$ and it was far from worth it.

EDIT:Since I am unable to respond to your response I will let you know that my son was not misbehaving... he is not even three years old and he can't communicate verbally. He was hungry. He didn't stop us from enjoying hot fries because they where not hot.... and the lady did argue about the drink she kept telling me I had already gotten all my drinks but I had to keep repeating myself.... I was not complaining about the money I spent... I was complaining about what I spent it on. I try to support locally. But seeing that anytime you get a bad review you get so defensive is just sad. Oh and if I was you I would never speak on someone's child. You never know what someone has...
