Rix Ranch — Restaurant in Wales Township

Wish we could’ve liked the place. There were maybe 15 people when we arrived (with 10 out of the 15 at the bar). Took about 10 mins to get a menu and our drink order. Pop was watered down/uncarbonated. Then after we placed our order, roughly 10-15 mins passed before the waitress came back and said they were out of bologna, no biggie, boyfriend ordered the Loaded Tots. Never received our soup and waited another 20-30 mins for the food to come out. My burger and fries were cold and my boyfriend tots were getting colder and colder as he dug around the middle. Never once received a refill on drinks, etc. Wasted over an hour there for cold food and bad service. Bill was comped which was the only good outcome of the experience. I know for a fact we won’t be back which is a shame because we heard good things since they had been saved...

Stopped by after running Sunday errands and I got way more than what I was expecting! The staff was fun loving and real..even through construction work those two went up and beyond to please us customers. Now the food, don't let me get going although I will lol. I was talking to Dave about how I have been going to another bar for a smothered chicken dinner once a week. Well I'll be damned if he didn't come out of the kitchen with a concoction that was amazing! Kim is all full of smiles and a totally sweetheart. I WILL be back again! Thanks Club 21! Food had no flavor, fish was mush, and my daughter's corn was rubbery and clumped together like it was literally flopped out of a tupperware and microwaved. The bar maid was rude and made us feel like a total inconvenience. I asked if I could get veggies for my toddler instead of fries and she rolled her eyes and shook her head ( I'm not even kidding ). Never asked if we needed a highchair or booster seat. Never even smiled. I actually felt bad asking for salsa and sour cream ( which was sweet, didn't feel trustworthy to eat ).
