We were here for the weekend and planned to enjoy a cup of coffee at your coffee shop. Place is very cute inside, however the service was not. We were not greeted while waiting to have our order taken, the lady behind the counter was rude to the gentleman working, when I asked a question about the type of coffee I was made to feel like I should have known the difference. She also gave me a very rude look when I asked for our coffee cake, that they forgot to put on the counter with our drinks. I asked for creamer and she said, "You didn't order it with creamer." The Crooked Halo Coffee Shop is located within Blu Soul design. The building is a beautiful refurbished brick building (old Masonic temple), filled with new and upcycled furniture and decorating do-dads. The coffee shop / bakery portion is clean, tidy, and very well lit. Comfortable chairs and side tables around to sit if you want to stay. The bakery items are made from scratch and you can tell!
