Juniata Junction Restaurant — Restaurant in Walker Township

Fantastic service. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was perfect. Their pie selection was phenomenal. We enjoyed our breakfast.

Update: We stopped in with a large family group, since we have been here multiple times and loved the food. We called ahead to see if they could seat us all and on the phone and they confirmed that they could and they would push tables together for us. We get there and they refuse to let us sit together, claiming they can't get between our tables with a tray(a tray was never used) if we make one long table. Well, then we are sat in tables back to back and there is no way to get between our tables anyway. They put our orders in separately, by table- and they came out at different times. Our group was a multi-generational group and we were all in town from hundreds of miles away and wanted to spend breakfast together at a central location before going our separate ways. My husband and I went to the Juniata Junction for dinner. The waitress was very nice and attentive. My husband had the Grilled Reuben and fries. I ordered their Turkey dinner special. Their fries were homemade but not crispy. The Reuben was very good. It was definitely fresh off the grill. My turkey dinner was okay. The turkey and stuffing were very good. I enjoyed their homemade stuffing. It had a great flavor. Their gravy, mashed potatoes and corn were definitely not homemade. The gravy was tasteful but the mashed potatoes and corn were not good. The portion size was great. The restaurant was clean and our table was very clean. It seems like their specialty is probably the sandwiches. I would go there again but would probably stick to the burgers...

We were in town on business and looking for a mom and pop Restaurant to get away from chain restaurants! @ 4:45 on a Friday night there were 5 cars in the parking lot should have been a clue! We read homemade pies and we said we’re trying this place. “””Follow your gut!””” waiter was nice, I got the turkey dinner with mashed potatoes and bake beans! The Turkey was super hot, stuffing and potatoes were cold and gravy was barely warm! Now I knew the kitchen was using the hell out of the microwave and were poor at it! I paid ~$16 for a meal that wasn’t fresh and the lemon Meringue pie was clearly a Marie Calendars not home made and past its expiration date!
