My wife and I have traveled all over the Eastern United States and we love ice cream so we always try different places. Today we got done canoeing and were looking for some ice cream and Gobbler Knob came up. It was hands down the best ice cream I have ever had. Their top flavor is absolutely amazing and everything in there just looks amazing. It was also well priced, we got two waffle cones filled to the brim and a kids cup for less than 20.00. The family that owns it is super inviting and warm. It’s the kinda place in Indiana where you want to just stop and talk for a while. Places and families like this don’t get enough credit for the hard work they do to make time away from the city an amazing experience. This place is season dependent so if you are reading this and it’s snowing or after Halloween it won’t be open but if it’s between Memorial Day and October 1st....

Listen... I would give these legends more stars, but apparently 5 is the limit and I don’t wanna break google. Even though the place was busier than a toddler on espresso, these girls were out here chatting, smiling, and sprinkling fairy dust on everyone like they had time-bending powers. Flavors? Options? You’d think Willy Wonka had a side hustle here. The place was bursting with personality—like if a party and a unicorn had a baby and that baby learned customer service from Chick-fil-A in another galaxy. The cones? Absolute massive cones. Next time we're sharing one, not because we're cute, but because our jaws need a break. And don’t even get me started on the prices—so reasonable, I thought I was on a prank show. And yes... I love my goochie getter. Don’t ask, just go try...

Best. Place. Ever. Our family vacationed at Sugar Creek Campground over Labor Day weekend. We had spent the day at Turkey Run hiking and was hungry for ice cream. We are from Northern Indiana and not familiar with the area. Gobbler’s Knob was a suggestion and boy it was NOT a disappointment!! The fresh made waffle cones were absolutely amazing!! From the variety of ice cream choices to the sampling of them to the kindness and warmth of the staff was phenomenal!!! The quaint building and atmosphere was delightful!! You guys are RockStars and wish we could visit you more often!! The next time we are in your area, rest assured a visit will happen!!! Until...

Gobbler’s Knob is out traditional ice cream stop when going to Turkey Ryan State Park. I’m guessing Gobbler’s Knobb is a family run operation since the staff has been the same for many years, and they remember us even though we only visit once or twice a year. They have a huge option of ice cream, and are super generous about giving samples to help make your decision (and my kids seem to need a lot of samples before they make up their mind - I think they are working the system 🤔) Prices are fair, and the ambiance is really cool.

Camping nearby, visiting from IL we drove past this place and wanted to check it out. Immediately as we walk to the front entrance we are welcomed by the fresh scent of waffle cones being made. Being family owned the staff was incredibly welcoming, and the Pumpkin caramel macciato Shake I got was 10/10. My wife is sensitive to peanuts and nuts and they accommodated hee very well. If I'm ever in the area again would come back! They also have a cool penny press machine!
