Taco Bell / KFC — Restaurant in Walsenburg

My finance, daughter and I stopped for a bite to eat. When we first arrived the employee who took our order was very professional and kind. When we got our order the quality of food was terrible, no beef in the tacos and the shell was stale. I kindly went up to the counter and asked if they could remake it. The lady was beyond rude and refused to remake the food. When she refused I asked for our money back so we can be on our way. Then the employee accused us of trying to get free food and of stealing. I asked for the store manager and she refused to give me the name. A male employee heard the female employee yelling came up and called us broke lol. Not to mention they called the police and all other customers were very upset at the unprofessionalism of the Taco Bell/ KFC workers. The police came and put my finance in handcuffs within 2 seconds of asking for his ID ( they didn’t even give him a chance to give his name) KEEP DRIVING. It is not worth the stop I would rather starve then have that terrible experience again. I'm a truck driver, so, I've been all around the USA. Sometimes I like to not cook and get some fast food. Well, I made a mistake with this KFC! The absolute worst I've ever been to! First of all, don't pay attention to the sign where it says "original or extra crispy". They don't serve "extra crispy", per the lady taking my order. That it's a choice that each KFC has. I ordered a 2 piece with Fries. Before I could grab my receipt, the order was ready, in a STYROFOAM container! I went to get my fountain drink and they were out of tea. So, I get the mango drink. It was watered down. I threw it out. I got the Sierra mist, also watered down. The area was dirty and trash was full. I was the only customer, when I walked in. I get to my semi truck and open my container, there are 2 very tiny pieces of chicken. Very light in color, a dry and old biscuit, no butter. French fries. The chicken doesn't even taste like the KFC recipe. I was so disappointed. I should have known it wasn't a good choice as soon as I saw the Styrofoam container. Then, the prices were outrageous! $10.99 for a 2 piece, dark, with one side. I called them to complain, but the phone...

The people there are super nice, but the quality of their food is terrible. I ordered three crunchy beef tacos and they tasted like they have been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. To top it all off, they smelled so bad. I don't know what it was. Maybe it was the taco shells, but they smelled rancid and tasted rancid. I ordered from there one time before and ordered a burrito Supreme and the tortilla was hard, dried out and the lettuce inside was mush. I will have to say I will never go back there again. Well, I said I wouldn't go back but I decided to try and give them another chance. Hoping that they would see the reviews and the criticism and fix it well, they didn't fix anything. The tacos were beyond stale. The tacos must have been sitting for quite some time because the bottoms we're soggy and stuck to the paper. The burritos I ordered, we're disgusting. The tortillas again were dry and stale, the lettus inside mushy. You can't make that kind of food in advance. They are very lazy workers. Even though they are kind people, they are dirty. The environment outside is dirty. Their appearance is dirty. Tells you a lot where they come from....
