Bucky's Seafood & Deep southern Cooking — Restaurant in Walterboro

My employee and I went in today we could not tell who were employees. No one was dress as if they just walk in off the street. And serving guests. We stood at your entrance for several seconds as no one spoke to us or greeted us. Finally and older man came in asked us if we being help we said no then a lady perhaps wearing something gold was not pleasant either. My coffee was stale and old. I asked the waitress about a fresh cup she replied it was like this when she arrived on her shift. I order turkey wings it's obvious that they sat in grease all over my one wing. Collard green were old and dark. Potatoe salad was horrible. They brought out the same order It was finally corrected. I will never recommend this fast chaos place. It appear a little uncomfortable The service in some places in Walterboro are horrible. It obvious we were not please . My employee became sick after eating some of his food One thing I do take pictures of my food. Services unprofessional not a friendly place. My second restaurant I visit horrible employees look at you don't say anything cursing in front of customer. My rating for this restaurant is a 5 period. They do have a A on the door. Never again. Honest review:

Was recommended by a local food lover like myself, so of course I had to try it.

When you come in, it has a soul food feeling to it. Like you know when you’re done eating here you’re gonna be full, and you’re gonna enjoy all this heavy food.

When you first walk in, you might just be looking around for a hostess to sit you, but they will eventually show up. Service was great when she was around but I think they were understaffed.

Food was good, but not sure I got the correct fish that I ordered, but it was very tasty. The yams I’m pretty sure came from a can, but they was doctored up well. Very sweet!! The sweet tea is VERY SWEET!!!!!! The collard was seasoned well, and I even got a decent chunk of meat with mine. The broccoli and cheese was disappointing, it was steamed broccoli and a little shredded cheese on top….. didn’t even have any salt on it… Frog legs was good, cooked a little hard, but still good. Wings and the sauce they came with was pretty flopping good. Sweet and spicy FTW.

Would I come back???? Yes, but I hope they can be more attentive to the customers, and if your gonna make broccoli and cheese, do better.

Fast and very pleasant service my waitress in think her name was,Tory very nice young lady. My crabs were awesome just really small but the flavor was on point. I had a certified service dog with me an employee that wasn't our waitress passed by and said "Cute dog but they're not going to let you have that in here" Just in passing by our table not stopping to ask any questions I really felt that was very rude of her. If she need to show concern, she should be concerned about the blood and poop on the wall in the first stall in the women's bathroom. We try our best to support black owned business in all our travels. Sometimes, I just can't bother with our very own people the rudeness and disrespect is so uncalled for. We're business owners. We treat all our clients with the upmost respect. It's always that one employee that will turn people away. We spent good money in you're establishment for your employee to speak to us in passing about a concern she had about my service animal. I'm glad we were just passing through your town on business.
