Great Wall — Restaurant in Walterhill

I was out here doing a pet sitting job and needed some food close by and I was excited when I saw the Great Wall. Absolutely the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. I ordered beef and vegetables and I’m really not sure WHAT kind of meat it was because it was light brown, not dark like beef, and looked all chopped up, it was bland and had no flavor. It was weird and I hesitated eating it at all. I’m sorry but it’s true. I also ordered hot and sour soup….again terrible and had no spice whatsoever. Hot and sour? Nope. Just bland until I added stuff. I usually don’t take the time to leave reviews and am usually easy to impress, but this food was a waste of money. In the past six years I’ve lived in several states and done a ton of traveling and I always look for a great Chinese place. I’m a fan of New York style Chinese food. A sweet and saucy taste for things like General Tso or Sesame chicken. I also always order Crab Ragoons and Short Ribs. This place is one of the best I’ve ever had outside of New York City.
