Heard about this spot that opened during the pandemic by a long-time chef from another local Italian restaurant. Described as Italian-American comfort food, and that seems fitting to match the menu, and the food we had.

They have a lot of Italian inspired American food mashups, like different Italian chicken cutlet sandwiches and meatball smashburgers. Most of the entrees can be ordered in half size portions, which is great. Some menu items can be ordered gluten free as well, as they do have a chickpea pasta option. The online ordering was seamless, and the food was ready when my expected pickup time was.

We got a few things for 2 people to share, and we each had large plates, and a third large plate for leftovers. See the pic attached. The half order of rigatoni* with vodka sauce, roasted red peppers, and chicken cutlet (*substituted for the chickpea penne for the fiber/health content. Note, if you want the gluten free chickpea penne but don't want everything else to be gluten free in that dish, it would be good to leave a note that the rest of the dish can have gluten. I did that, and the note was appreciated.) The sauce was delicious, and the chickpea pasta held up well! It's a different texture than normal pasta. I ordered for health reasons end expected it might be mushier, but it held form, had some bite, and does do some crumbling while chewing, but I'd get it again if health continues to say to avoid pasta. The half order of lemon pesto chicken cutlet with garlic broccoli was great. The buffalo chicken chowder was nice and thick, and the cheesy ciabatta bread was a great dipper for the soup! Small salad was plenty big enough for 2 people as a side....

This restaurant is a hidden gem! From the quality of the food, to the very friendly staff, and the warm ambience, you will leave a highly satisfied customer. We went with friends and were able to try several items from the menu. Each were delicious in their own regard. Several of us got soup and we also got an order of bruschetta. For entrees, we each got a different "noodle" selection. All of it was FABULOUS! You can tell when the food is made from scratch and this is the real deal. The food comes out hot and the portions are large (the menu says half portion are available too). We all went home with leftovers. They do have other options besides "noodle" dishes including vegan, gluten free and a kids menu. I am looking forward to being a returning customer. If you are looking for casual dining with a fine foods restaurant taste at a very reasonable price, Danspot is the...

Saw a friend post his meal from here and I was determined to try it myself. Grabbed dinner one evening because it was hot outside and I didn't feel like cooking. Dan is literally one of the nicest people I've ever encountered. Rigatoni vodka with grilled chicken was delicious! You can't beat the price for the taste and quality of the food. Even went back the next day to try the rigatoni with meat sauce and meatballs (also tasty)! Hubby had the cheese steak sandwich and buffalo chicken chowder. He absolutely loved both! French fries are amazing! Food was also packaged very well!It stayed warm and not a drop of anything spilled. So happy to have found such great food close to home. I've been looking for convenient, flavorful Italian at a reasonable price for a...

We did a search for places to eat on our route to Cleveland while on a road trip. Between the menu items and the good reviews, this place called out to us. Parking was easy, the vibe inside was colorful, the music eclectic, and the staff were very pleasant. Best of all, the food. I ordered the jambalettes, buffalo chicken chowder, and swedish meatballs. Everything was very tasty and hit the spot after many hours of driving. The portion sizes were very generous, and the price was reasonable. This is a great place to grab a tasty bite to eat and unwind. I just wish I lived closer so I could go back and try more of their dishes! Go grab a bite to eat here, you'll be glad you did.
