This place reminds me of my childhood. Boisterous, happy, kind, and innocent. The amazing staff, the atmosphere, everything about the place. Not to mention the food. The food is like walking into the state of Mexico and asking someone for a home cooked meal. It couldn’t be better. If it was better, I would transcend the mortal plain into a higher plain of existence, the taco plain. I’m screaming and crying tears of joy with every bite, and I have to stop eating to enjoy the flavor for at least 5 minutes before another bite. This IS the spot. I had a family here. I grew up here. Well, how can one begin to describe Larry’s… for I finally awoke from my unconscious slumber full of nightmares; nightmares of eating at subpar, bland, and cantankerous restaurants. Every time I ate every meal leading up to eating at Larry’s, I just weeped. Weeped of sorrow and sadness. I was floating around in a busy, empty world. That was, per chance, until I found Larry’s. My world swirled and flipped into a brand new universe of color and beauty. Life finally made sense, life finally had meaning. Cool little place. Looking at the outside you are surprised when you see the inside but I like that. Cozy and comfortable. Food was good. I had enchiladas with red sauce and it had a decent kick. Loved the salsa which also had a good kick. My wife and mother in law had brisket tacos and they really liked them. Served on paper plates, plastic cups, and plastic forks. But that's no problem. Prices were good. They do only take cash or checks so prepare for that. Glad that they're there in Wapy now....
