So I tell the girl at the window I want the calamari platter, as the menu says all platters come with fries. She says back to me, "the seafood platter?" And I say, "no calamari platter." Then she says again, "yeah so the seafood platter." At that point I'm confused so I begrudgingly say, "sure." After charging me, she tells me the total and hands me the receipt and she walks away, then comes back, and I look at her and say, "this isn't what i ordered. I jist wanted calamari." And she goes "oh, uhm," so my friend speaks up for me, and the girl finally says "can I have your card back so I can charge you for the right thing. What is the price on the menu." Why doesn't she know the prices?! I say, "yes and a refund for the wrong item." She nods and hands me back the receipt and I sign the second one. After waiting another five to ten minutes she comes back and asks what I ordered AGAIN, to which I tell her with attitude this time "calamari platter." She then walks away and my friend who ordered after me gets her food like way before me. It's a couple days later and the girl never gave me a refund. Horrible customer service, and I work in hospitality and have patience but she was terrible. Having me almost pay 30 dollars for a 17 dollar meal. And when i get my food literally 20 minutes later at this point I ask if she refunded me as I grab my food and she tells me yes again. Never offered to have a manager or owner come out, but I doubt they were there seeing as it was only teenagers running the place. She was ridiculous and She needs to be fired so this doesn't happen to others. Only good thing was the Creamsicle...
Read moreI had gone to Perryâs Icecream on my way back from the beach with three of my other friends and I was utterly disappointed with the staff at this establishment. The wait was long, which I did not mind at all. However, I started to find it off when I was behind a car and all of the sudden one of the staff members opens the side opening door. As I work in a similar fast food place, I, myself, do the same thing. But, when this particular staff member went to go look. She saw my friends and I and stared/ gave us filthy looks, which was very unwelcoming and just made us want to leave as we felt like we were upsetting them. Then, I had gone to the window and I kindly asked the girl who was blonde with blueish eyes if I could do four separate, short orders and apologized in advance. Her reply is what got me. She responded with âugh I guessâ and rolled her eyes. She continued with attitude and said âwhat do you want.â My friends and I were upset in a way by this. Then my friend went to order and said she was getting herself two ice creams and the girl proceeded to laugh snobbishly. This was a horrible experience and it really makes a person feel so horrible being treated in the manner, especially while being kind the whole time regardless of how we were treated. I will never go back here and will further not suggest this place to anyone in...
Read moreWould highly recommend AGAINST booking! Worst ice cream truck experience we've ever had.
During the booking process I had corresponded with someone through email and a series of phone calls. On this phone call I was informed that there would be soft serve on the ice cream truck. Not to mention that the entire website advertises soft serve with no mention of how their ice cream trucks do not serve it.
The ice cream truck arrives and its not a truck but an ice cream van that not only does not serve soft serve but is out of a number of items. The woman was extremely rude to the kids, was not wearing a mask (during COVID19), and unprofessional. She also left without serving everyone because the owner decided to "pull" her out.
The owner of Perry's blames our party and family of being inconsiderate and passes judgement as to what kind of family we are. Takes no responsibility for the poor service and miscommunication.
Their website and service totally misrepresents what kind of experience they...
