63rd Donuts — Restaurant in Warr Acres

I love this place. Sometimes, if I'm up extra early, I like to go get the fresh donuts and talk to the staff. They are always thinking of what items they could add to the case, even though I am already obsessed with what they have in there.

We started going there for the kolaches (or jalapeno sausage rolls, as my friend often corrects me), but we kept coming back for the donut holes, cake donuts, fun decorated donuts and then finally, the ham and cheese on a croissant.

This ham and cheese croissant is so good that my husband knows to take me there if I am sick and don't have an appetite. The smell of those delicious little sandwiches will always perk...

I want to make it clear before I write this review, that this has been the only bad experience I have had with this place, practically since they openned. Ive known about them, and thoroughly enjoyed their food, for quite some time.

That being said, I was waiting for them to open, and when I saw them turn the open sign on, I decided to wait a bit longer out of respect.

The lady glanced at me, but she was busy. Even though it was about 15 minutes after open, the door was locked. I eventually left because I felt creeped out standing out in the snow...

The best Donuts I've ever had the pleasure of having. I base a place off of if they have good glazed donuts. They have the freshest and overall better tasting glazed I've had. The fruit glazed donuts are amazing. As I've only ever had cake donuts that have blueberries and other fruit in them, they managed to make an actual glaze topping that taste just like lemon, blueberry, strawberry and orange they are magnificent.
